This one is ok, but it wont be able to stand up to the first IMO. _________________ Our life is made by the death of others...

You put Jackie Chan in ANYTHING, make him say some generally uplifting, wise-sounding shit, and it's magically awesome. |

Well, people like Jackie Chan. Of course, he is an aging star so it was only a matter of time before he got cast into an Old Master role. _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

Motherfucker could have filled an aging master role two decades ago. It's not about the age, it's about the wisdom, and Chan has fucktons of it. |

Nah wouldnt have been right to put him as the old master in the first one. He deserves the role in the seconed one cause now he IS an aging master. (That's a respectful remark of course)
I think they should have put an older kid in the part for the main character though. But hey who knows it might come off as a hit. Im kinda focused on PoP at the moment. xP
Here's hoping Jackie! _________________ Our life is made by the death of others...

Okay, this is the FIFTH Karate Kid movie. Just because there were 4 (same) movies that came out few years apart from each other doesn't make it one movie. Unless it's mega man, then the argument holds water.
Also, every time I try to imagine Jackie Chan as anything old and wise, I end up remembering that batshit insane Pai Mei from Kill Bill. _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Looks like it will have some good jokes and things like that, but to be honest this is just another Jackie Chan sell out.
They're taking what was somewhat a dramatic and action movie from back in the day into whats going to be mostly a comedic movie. What are they thinking?
I don't think I'll like it, considering they old one. And how he was white and now is black, and was a teen and now is a kid? Why don't they just re-write the movie while they're at it? Oh wait, they already did. |

Sounds like you're complaining that they aren't making the same movie they made 10 years ago. |

But they aren't remaking it. It's a series reboot. |
