Looking For Volunteers

well Rayme im glad to help. I have so much free time and i wanna put it to use. I can see that you are really busy and most people should understand that. So i cant wait to help!

Well, it's great we're getting volunteers as is, we just now have to make sure everything is good and then denis will be contacting those who can do it and is accepted. Just make sure you have an e-mail or even better, aim, msn, etc etc, in your forum profile somewhere or what not so he can contact you when needed.

When and if you are panel, it is advised that you first look up the other members and add them on your aim and such. All of us already have each other on aim and it is very helpful (trust me, it's strongly adviced in my opinion you add other staff members to your messengers)

It makes communicating much easier, to ask questions, get opinions, ask for help, tell each other who's working on what, when we're leaving, if we can't help for a few days, etc etc. Sometimes there are two people doing the approval panel and unless you know what each other are doing you end up trying to approve/reject the same stuff.

So just be patient, Denis is very busy a lot of the time and he has to make sure he gets everyone's two cents and leave enough time open for any more to volunteer and then again, for others opinions. He'll tell you when the time comes if your put on the panel so don't worry. And please don't over look the category clean up, remember, we need a lot of help on that, when, and only when, the approval list isn't full.

Due to ever increasing submissions, looking for people again for the approval panel.

Requirements:
* Free time - If you don't have much you aren't much help.
* Minimal computer skills - If you have trouble using the basic site features don't bother (Its amazing the lack of them in some tech support emails I get)
* Available at the times of high approval panel limits. - Early afternoon seems to be the most needed time for one or 2 more people. Maybe the existing AP people can be more specific on what times more people are needed.

People are chosen based on their existing community involvement on the site and their general behavior.

I'll be on the Approval Panel. I'm online pretty much everyday and I'm usually online at noon and earlier. I know I can help because it's summer vacation and I'm stuck in the house throughout the rest of the summer due to construction outside, also nearly every time I've gone online the approval queue was really high. So hopefully I can help:)

hey id love to help with the site....ive been thinking about helping but i didnt really know how to get into it.

id love to help out with the Submission Approval Panel, i mean, im near enough always on the pc in the afternoons....sometimes in the morning, but yeah, id love to help out wid the site. And it would be cool to see different peoples piccys...*smiles*

plus ive been on the site for a while so i kinda know how things go in here....hehe

If it's not too late to volunteer, I could help on the approval panel....ya see, we have no shortage of computers here and I could go on at almost any time and approve stuff....I usually hang around at FAC all day as it is, and I have noticed that it gets fairly clogged up in the mornings. Of course, seeing how many others volunteered, I probably won't be much of a help to anyone ^____^;; Oh well, I'd be more than willing to try if I had the chance.

Do you still need people to work on the [b]approval panel[/b]? I'm on FAC probably a good 3 or more hours a day during the school year and at least 5 or more during weekends or summer/spring/winter breaks. I'm often on early in the morning and often times no mods have a chance to get on that early, and since I'm on tons I think I would be good for the AP position! Also, I now a lot a bout a good deal of popular anime/manga series as well as a lot of less common ones and I have many resources to look things up to see if they are stolen and I am willing to spend hours doing so, I hope you consider me!

im willing to volunteer. im on the site at least a good 5 or 6 hours when there is no school. and when there is school im always on for at least 3 or 4 hours. and if its not too late i would like to volunteer for the approval panel or whatever else..got nothing to do might as well help my favorite site. ^_^

Alot of people already volunteered I see.
If ya still need the help I could always lend a hand. And since I don't really have to do a whole lot for the next few months, I have a lot of spare time (which is usually spent on the computer anyway).
So, I'd be happy to help with anything if you still need it.
