In terms of loyalty to source material, I think the F4 movies did the best.
on the first movie yes... on the second movie
big planet eater dude was actually defeated by an object created by reed richards... can't remember the name of it now... i'll look it up when i'm not so tired and lazy
Galactus? To be fair to him, pretty much everyone can be killed by something Richards creates. One could argue that Richards is a mutant in the same way that Forge is, and his uncanny scientific Deus Ex Machinas stem from the X-Gene allowing him to think beyond human conventions.

Now that i'm awake... yes. Galactus. The Watcher told Torch to retrieve the Ultimate Nullifier from Galactus's ship... the one thing that can kill him and Reed used it to confront him... Galactus then retook back the nullifier and banished silver surfer to earth... so on and so forth... movie was off Very Happy

close, but off... but then again... hollywood can't do anything right..

Deadpool and Cable was great. Except the later issues, which were mostly Deadpool and Deadpool's headvoices.

Not in that the story was exactly the same as the comic. That's not super important.

Comic Spider-Man is a wise cracking joker who only stops talking to eat. Movie Spider-Man isn't. Comic Daredevil has a long history of stopping the Punisher from killing badguys, because he's a lawyer and believes in, you know, fair trials and prison. Movie Daredevil's a Frank Castle in spandex.

On the other hand, while watching the F4 movies, I felt that the Reed Richards on screen was the Reed Richards I knew, not some weird alternate-universe Reed Richards.

X-men movies saddened me greatly. Magneto was great. Everything else was not.

The new Batman movies are meh. The old Batman movies are tremendously entertaining in a terrible way.

new batman movies are based from the dark horse comic books whereas the old ones were based off that silly tv pilot from the black and white days... bang/pow fight scenes... lmao

you can't be jack nicholson as joker...

new movies are better imho...

@ london - agreed that peter parker from the movies isn't the peter parker we all love. Spider-man is a smartass hollywood, get it right. A smartass that talks wayyyyy too much lmao

Magneto was awesome. Personally i think they did a decent job with Logan as well. I liked the backstory on rogue's hair (but i'm a big rogue fan) so yea. Otherwise the plots from the three xmen movies were a alternate universe type thing and they killed scott... bad mojo

He's not Brian. In fact he's not even new. I am guessing it's probably Solaris.

didn't figure he was new either... sn is throwing me off...

@ james... agreed. But they did a decent job in the first couple of movies doing his attitude. Not a bullseye but they at least hit the dartboard

The entire arc of Cable trying to bring about world peace is probably one of my favorite things Marvel has ever done, next to Drs Strange + Doom: Triumph and Torment, and Bullet Point.

...So he was a raging fucking asshole in the movie too?

To be honest, I actually greatly enjoyed the X-Men movies. The first two at least. Even the X3 had some entertaining shit. Granted, they could have done a better version of Astonishing X-Men's story, but at least there was some amusing moments.

Also, I lol'd at Jugs being a mutant now.
