dualshock 3 wont sync

Once again I know there is like 3 of you with a Ps3, but do any of you that happen to read this know why my controllers arent syncing without begin plugged in first?

Great idea, I know I payed $60 for a wireless controller to keep it plugged in.

That way I can drag my massive recliner to get within range of the cord so im sitting 3 feet from my 65in television, I cant wait to go completely near-sighted by the time im 25!

Then take it out when you play. If the problem is with Syncing, it will autosync when plugged in, and then you can just unplug it and sit down.

Unless you are a 300 pound behemoth, this should be a simple, easy, no mess solution.

Oh, you dont understand, thats the problem. Sometimes even once its unplugged it will de-sync.

Also, its not the the point that its [i]"that easy"[/i] to fix, but the controllers are 54.99 which in my area, is pretty close to $60 with tax added. They should work!

I might as well, have just bought a new game. If your new purchased game required you to automatically restart at a certain point no matter what you did, would you be ok with it? Sure you can get right back to where you were...but is that [i]REALLY[/i] what you want to deal with, exspecially with a pricing point like that? I dont think so.

Return it. If they won't take it, invest the $7.50 for a 20 foot mini-USB cable.

this is happening with my older controller to...its like some sort of new interference has happened.

Your wall of stupidity is obfuscating the controller signals. Either turn it down a bit or change the frequency from "makes unnecessary posts every hour" to "runs with scissors".

Anyways, cant you just sit down infront of the tv? Not super close, but enough to where you can see it? That's what I do. Plus wireless controllers were always a pain in the ass to begin with, my brother knowing this well so dont feel as if the ps3 doesnt like you. xP
But if it continues giving you trouble, like Tyler said return it, I'd want my money back if that shit happened to me.
