same here........

me and my friends would always act like 12 13 year olds and we would get stared at for being imature and stuff. But we all had the time of our lives when we did those things. We would play games like red rover red rover and other games like such on the grass near the choir room. We all would make the stupidiest voices imaginable and make fun of each other and well really if it was goofy and imauture to some then it was very cool in our group of friends.

Even when our choir would go on trips we would act all stupid and people would say man there weird but when they would hear us sing they would say man there good. I believe that if people acted more more like we did and like the teenage japanese people then life would be more enjoyable and everyone would lead a happier life.

As for the topic

my friend erin should be in japan by now and i'll bet she is with all her friends up there in disneyland acting like we did in choir.......sigh....... i envy those who get to go to japan.

Getting off the subject...

Wanna know something cool and wrong at the same time? You can be as young as 13 and can buy adult manga/videos. How do I know?

Well...I was 13 and I was hanging out with my "perverted" friends and came across a video store. During that time, I was still obsessed with Pokemon so I came to the nearest Pokemon section. One of my friends walks straight to the hentai section and took out a DVD that freaked me out. (because I've never saw anime hentai before...) Then he bought it, me assuming that the cashier would say something like, "Are you old enough to buy this?" or something like that, but all she said was, "Arigato gozaimashita!" keeping her courteous smile. Weird...

Japanese creators are sick. They make these video/mangas so freakin vivid. It's scary... *spine chill*

I might be going to Japan next year... It's a school thing. Except they only take 20 students (grade 11 and 12) out of the whole city. So I have a small chance of being able to go. Sad But I'm still gonna apply for it. Might as well, eh?
It's only a two week trip, and we would visit two cities (Can't remember which ones, at the moment >_<) ... but it would still be kick ass.

I hope I can go... :(

(kinda just jumped into the convo... sorry about that.. x_X)

Yeah, go for it! If you don't make it... well, nothing lost. And if you do, you'll have the time of your life. Two cities in two weeks? Hm, I'm willing to bet they're Tokyo and Kyoto. Those are the big ones for tourists.

I think it's pretty cool that there's a going-to-Japan program for high school students where you live. During high school, the only option we had was a Spanish-class trip to Spain. And then 9/11 happened and the trip was called off. Grr!

No, know for sure that it's not Tokyo or Kyoto... It's Hit-something and Tak-something ... o.o (I seriously can't remember which cities... Hitoyoshi and Takashima...? I don't think those are it... bleh.. x_X)

But... yeah.. whatever... I'm supposed to email this lady about it to get more info... I think I'll go do that now.

Here there it's a trip in the west of the country for 6 weeks and I dunno how big this is but I have to be 16 when I'm 15. >< suck. Bah I'll try to get in next year. (It's the firsts one to give their names get in and if you're too late then too bad.)
My mistake. We'd actually be going to  Hitachi and Takaoka.
Hah, that surprised me. I'm working for Hitachi (the company) this summer, so I thought that you must be mistaken about the city's name, but after scouring the internet, I now realize that it really is a city. Maybe that's where the company originated from... Hitachi is northeast of Tokyo, about an hour-long train ride away. And Takaoka is somewhere over by Mt. Fuji and Nagoya, in the center of Japan. So that's southwest of Tokyo. I almost died looking at some of the pictures that I found - that region is gorgeous!

So, once more, good luck with the trip thingy. Hope it all works out. ^_^

BTW, I want to kill whoever decided that sitting on the ground was better than using chairs. I went to a dinner party thing the other night, and we were sitting there for three hours! I couldn't sit cross-legged either because I was wearing a skirt, so my feet kept falling asleep. It wasn't cool. x_x;

I know what you mean. My legs always cramp if I sit for more than an hour... . . . .;
