"T" is supposed to be the ESRB equivalent to a PG-13.
Will I become insane by the time it comes out?
Probably, if you keep raving about how much you can't wait for it. Razz

Zoras, that is the N64 era Zoras, were on my list of favorite Zelda races too.

Zoras are cool. Ruto, I thought, was funny. In MM I had fun swimming around as a Zora.

Same here. It's fun being a Zora!
also found it pretty fun to throw Ruto off cliffs in OOC. I laughed everytime she'd go plumeting down.
Oh yeah, that was so darn fun!! I love the sound she makes every time she hit the wall (yeah, me and my siblings threw her into walls))

Lately I've been looking into my mailbox a lot. Why? Because Nintendo Power magazine is going to have a dvd within, and its going to have trailers of new games (TLoZ: TP!), and something from the E3.

Anyone gone crazy yet? If not, you might go certifiable reading this:

http://cube.ign.com/articles/642/642238p1.html

Don't think of it as a "delay". It's the developers who requested the extra time Cool. The very staff who are making the game! They want to do their utmost best in making this (potentially) the ultimate Zelda game ever, rather than work overtime and rush a game to market for the holidays. (You know what happens when games rush to market....)

For one, and this is something my sister pointed out (you wouldn't notice if you weren't specifically looking for it), is that Link's own animation could use some improvement. Not that it's bad or anything, but when you compare it to other well-animated games (like Jak & Daxter, or Ratchet & Clank), Link's motions seem a little stiff (particularly in contrast to the realism art style).

Besides, releasing Zelda sometime in March '06 (estimate) also means that they avoid the holiday game rush. How many games are major publishers planning to release in time for Christmas? That's a lot of competition for gamers' wallets. I imagine that by aiming the Zelda title toward the relative (that is, nine-month long Rolling eyes) slump between Christmases, it'll arrive at a time when gamers don't have as many things to conserve their money for.

And in the meantime, Nintendo released seven new official screenshots to drool over -- including a new image of the wolf Link! And without Midna on his back.

In this case, I say two legs good, four legs better.

Reserved a title several months before its release? Screw that, you know those dates are always open for change. So you'll just have to sit on it.

While I can't say it for anyone else, that the developers asked for more time rings of truth, not coverup. You don't truly appreciate just how much time and work goes into a game until you've experienced trying your hand at the same. 'Tis not easy.

I hope Canada will have it around the same time the states will. It's doing a while I'm waiting for this game to come out...
And they had to push the release date for '06 ><
Let's just hope they'll make it even better. It's already looking pretty cool but I wonder if the zoras will be there... I know about the gorons but no info about our fish-men Sad
The Zora was always my favorite MM form. I liked to swim and jump out of the water and stuff.
That was fun Smile I like to get the... "Chateau Romani" Milk (not sure about the name..) so I could have infinite magic. I'd fool around and in the water I could always play around with the like-like, a shocking lunch for them Laughing
Ruto was so boring in OoT. I'd have fun throwing her around just to hear her squeal or simply stand on my spot until she'd whine.
Throwing her into the water was fun too. The only boring part was to do all the way back to go and get her again WTF?

I believe the Canadian release dates are the same as the US ones. It's just the UK that gets them later, with the different regional encodings and all.

Also, we're much cooler. Cool

I've never bothered with reservations, myself. I just keep my eyes open and snag it when I want to. There are very few games anymore that I pick up soon as I spot it... learned that lesson the hard way with "Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly" (Grr!). The only games I currently plan to pick up at first sight are Sly Cooper 3, and of course, when the new Zelda arrives.

According to the IGN article, Nintendo hopes for a worldwide 2006 release date. Simultaneous would be cool, eh?

http://www.cheatcc.com/gc/media/loz_screen4a.html
I find that new screenshot VERY interesting. It's the fourth shot of Link as a wolf, but notice that Midna isn't riding him. They say that Link gets captured by the evil forces shortly after being turned into a wolf, and Midna frees him, and from that point the two of them ride together throughout the Twilight areas... but notice in that shot, Link is prowling alone. Where is Midna? And the snowy white lighting of that scene is very awesome.

Is that a hookshot?

How does a wolf use a hookshot?

The Scenery doth kick much ass, nonetheless.

No, that's an iron shackle. About halfway through the E3 2005 trailer, shortly after Link was turned into a wolf, you see him in a dungeon scene with his front left leg shackled in chains. Midna appears shortly, the two exchange glances, then you next see Link busting free with Midna riding on his back.

(You mean you don't remember that part of the E3 2005 trailer?)
