nippels, i like saying that word heh. n e who sometimes i draw them depending if im drawing an older 20ish year old,which i will draw nippels,or younger boy like a 10 year old which i wont draw them. but i hardly ever post pictures of the guys i draw, guess people think im lesbian or something but oh well.

For some strange reason, The last three pictures I've done all featured barechested man/boy, WTF?

I think they look best with nipples, without them, they look like cartoonish representations. (which probably is, lol)

yeah it would be weird seeing some shirtless guy with out nippels in real life. great now im imagining on of my guy friends with out nippels, have to stab my eyes out now.

Drawing a man without nipples would just feel... weird. It would be like drawing a person without a bellybutton.

I don't get the fear of man-nipples. Imagine seeing a guy without them, now that would be freaky. If you're frightened/disgusted by the naked human body with or without nipples it's one thing, but if you find the naked male chest beautiful enough to put in a picture, I don't see why you wouldn't want to draw it in it's natural form. Remember now, this is my own, personal opinion, and not in any way meant to offend anyone.

Er. Well, I usually draw my guys with clothes on. When I draw them shirtless, it really depends on the style I'm using - if it's more realistic, then he's got them. If it's more on the cutesy side, then I don't draw them. Either way, my men are usually wearing [i]something[/i]... Even if, most of the time, it's something... bondage-y... *shot* XD

I normally don't draw nipples period. Males, females, something in between, unless, like Fayore said, it's more realistic. Like that one picutre I would link to, but probably shouldn't because it's rather inappropriate. Nipples really aren't a necessity, though, so I tend not to draw them.

Gah, that's not what I meant, lol. Yes, chests would be boring, but they're smaller details, I guess. I normally don't notice them. But, then, that could be attributed to the fact that I'm surrounded by male nipples daily. I teach swim lessons and lifeguard at the local Y, so nipples are common place.

Plus I agree, nipples are far from unneccisarly.

Update on the nipples...

Male nipples are not useless at all, its purpose is two pairs of extra sensory nerves serving balance.

while it may SEEM useless, Male nipples are credited for maintaining balance in running, swimming and walking.

huge swellings? yes indeed they would, but the whole nipple thing, i would draw them but i can't, so i don't i would if i could tou. because it looks strange with out them.

I won't draw them when I'm drawing something cutesy. Cutsie things don't have nipples. But if I'm drawing more realistically, or with more detail, then they get nipples.

Real men should ALWAYS have nipples, though. Because they're fun to play with.
