On an unrelated note, have you ever been to Wikipedia's page where they keep deleted articles because the person was joking/stupid when they wrote it?

There's an article on "God" with a big fat smiling black guy for the picture with a subtitle that said, "god"

hilarious.

This seems like a good idea. I went on Wikipedia too (after Brian mentioned it) and Da is on there. I think that might help FAC (though I don't see how much. Thus place is booming already, unfortunately at least 80% of the artists don't bother trying hard or are obsessed fangirls. I'm trying my best to help out there) but it would be a good social standing (if that matters to anyone here)

Apparently when they say that anybody can edit Wikipedia, THEY MEAN IT. I must've spent an hour just looking over Wikipedia's own tutorials... I noted it as "NPOV check" (it's hard to be neutral about FAC when you're a [i]part of it[/i]), "Stub", and "Not verified" just to play safe. It still needs more, for example....

- Discussion about FAC content policy (i.e. adult level content)
- Various dates of importance (inclusion of AP, auto-AP, OS, etc., I left a lot of comments in the Wiki source about needing dates)
- Brief history of OS (to be NPOV)
- More precise reason for shutdown/purging of Unmoderated/Spam forums

And -- oops! -- after hitting Save, I realized I had left out the "t" from Central :lol:

This was followed by a rather hurried rush to look up Wikipedia redirects.

I might have listed some of the plans for the future of FAC, but much of that is known only to FAC site staff, so it can't be listed publically.

I would've mentioned cstdenis as the proprietor/webmaster, but it'd be more Wikipedian to mention a legal name than just the screen name we all know and love, so I didn't.

I also made a screenshot of FAC's main page for possible inclusion.

I like wikipedea so I think its pretty cool that you're making an article. Seems a little in depth though, I dunno if people will take the time to read the whole thing.

Today I added the fanart central acronym (FAC) to the FAC acronyms list, now if you write FAC instead of fanart central in wikipedia search it will give you fanart central as a redirecting option.
