Opening day didn't turn out as well as I had hoped, but at least the Dodgers lost.

I'm curious? How is JT Snow doing out there in Boston land? Haven't got to hear too much about him out here. Evrything out here is 'Barry Bonds This' or 'Barry Bonds That'. Pfft. No news about the great first baseman. Sad

Got to see Boston defeat the evil Empire (Yankees) in fine form the other day!!

Grats to the Tigers, who played valiantly against Oakland this post-season. Good luck in the World Series.

The Giants had another .500 year (again) <sigh>. Against the Mets, they were a surprising .500 (the Mets had been so dominant in the season). The Cardinals had much better success. Eh, I hope they BOTH lose.

Sore losing aside, good luck to BOTH the Cardinals and the Mets.

Was the WBC just a one time deal? I thought it was going to be something annual, but it didn't happen this year. The WBC website didn't say much at all about there ever being another one.

Screw Baseball. What happened to the days of Babe Ruth? Nowadays a warm up practice is shooting up with steroids. Today a pitcher goes out to the mound injecting steroids into the right arm "Wait, I pitch left handed" then injects steroids into his left arm.

Babe Ruth? A gallon of moonshine, raw red meat, a big black nasty cigar, a big black nasty hooker, hits a ton of homeruns.

Barry Bonds? Steroids, Hormones, Steroids, and more hormones.
