Well, I'm not entirely sure what Anima Reactors are either. Xenogears isn't marvelously specific. However, to change a Gear into an Omnigear, the Gear and its pilot have to synchronize with something called an Anima Relic. Each of the Anima Relics (I'm not sure of the exact number...was it ten?) has a different name, and three of them are named the same as the ES units in X2--Zebilim, Dinah, and...er...darn it, I forget the other one. However, the Omnigears have no visible control mechanism. They seem to run completely on the power of the pilot's mind, using it to burn the fuel to move the Gear. Therefore, I would assume that the Anima Reactor is the power source which fuels Omnigears, and that it is either part of or entirely the Anima Relic.

FYI, Anima Relics, when they are separate from a Gear, look like huge, multi-layered crystals with a Memory Cube (aka Zohar Emulator look-alike) inside. So the Anima Relics probably connect with Zohar. Which means the Omnigears probably connect with Zohar. Which means that...that...I don't know what that means, but it's definitely weird.

And where does the Urobolus Ring figure into all of this?

I swear, the more connections you make in Xenosaga/ gears, the more questions you have.

T-ELOS [i]was[/i] mentioned in XS1!!

On my replay the other day, I was at the part where you play as Jr, and he's infiltrating that U-TIC ship... One of the rooms appears to have an electronic blueprints thing set up by one of the walls, and if you examine it, Jr says something like, "It's labelled "T-ELOS". It appears to be blueprints for some kind of robot."

So, is T-elos a collab project between U-TIC and Vector? I guess we already knew that to a certain extent, but to have proof... :00

I'm seriously tempted to play through Xenogears again right now and comb the thing for any other references to KOS-MOS and/ or T-ELOS. And speaking of T-ELOS, do we know what her name stands for yet? Technologically Enhanced something-or-other, maybe?

Yay! ^.^ I liked Canaan, he was cool...and hot --^.^-- And I have to say, I liked the appearance of the first Xenosaga much better than the second, and I like the look of this third maybe even more than the first. Looks like they're doing a good job. Thanks for the screenshot, Fayore! (basks in the chaos-ness again)

By the way, I wonder what Allen will be doing as a PC...what weaponry will he use? Maybe none...but if he's had any fighting skills until now, you'd think he'd've used them. Maybe something happens to change him in this one... --.--

Havev fun with part two. For $20, I guess you might as well. I just bought mine at full price because the store I was at (Walmart, haha) had extra preorder dvds and ended up packaging them with the games. 8D chaos' Japanese voice? HOSHI SOUICHIROU, BABY. (aka. Kira Yamato (GSEED), Son Gokuu (Saiyuuki), Gakuto (PoT), etc... :B ) Just hearing chaos with Hoshi's voice made that $65 totally worth it. 8DDDD

The game itself wasn't nearly as fun as XS, though. I WANT MY UMN BACK. ;_;

Besides which, has anyone finished watching the Xenosaga anime? I've seen the first few episodes a while back, and the plot's marginally different (eg, Virgil didn't die in the beginning and it was he who accompanied them when escaping the Woglinde instead of Cherenkov).

The torrent's probably easy to find. And it's short, too (13 eps, I think they might be considering another season but that's a rumour...).

The art takes a bit of getting used to, though. They used the art style from the XS DS game.

The JP release date has already been mentioned several times throughout the thread. Read the posts before posting; it's not like there's a lot. The NA release has no date, but don't expect it any time before November.

My brother bought the game a while back...really wished I'd finished my guy before he moved ....Xenogears was heaven...didn't like Xenosaga nearly as much though...really wished it had more music playing through out the game <_<
