Methinks people have gotten sick of keeping all their thoughts private and they want to blurt them out all over the internet for attention... I must admit, I'm guilty of such. ._.
I keep a journal on deviantART but nowhere else. Web Blogs are too hard to set up with all the bells and whistles and coding... yuck.
I prefer to keep it simple and just update every now and then to keep my watches updated so they know I'm not dead. <: _________________ I R GRAMMAR NAZI.

Perhaps people get the impression that journals are for people to see because we read the ones that most or some popular writers have after they die, or become popularized.
I normally wouldn't ever decide to keep a journal because I probably treat every day like every other. I couldn't tell you that the last week I had was worse than the one today, or if it was better. My friends are better at doing that than I am. However, I do keep a blog, not to write about myself, because I know nobody cares, so I just write articles in them, that may be either philosophical in nature, for ranting, for artwork, or for tutorials. But not really much about myself. |
