Ok *review mode* Fire Emblem is split up into so called stories. There are a total of 3 different storylines, each time the main character's are different. Lyn's Story, Elliwood's story, and Hector's story. Also, the level are called chapters. What they're trying to do is give it the affect that someone is telling a story of what happened in the battles and such. Also, Lyn's story is a couple year's before Elliwood's story. So you basically skip ahead bout 2 years when you get to Elliwood's story. Also, Hector's story is the exact same adventure as Elliwood's (since he was traveling with him) cept there are extra levels and you get the choice to get new chars. When you beat Elliwood's story, you get the option to play Hector's story, you have to beat Elliwood's firt. Also, you get the option to replay Lyn's or Elliwood's story on hard mode. (gah, enemies are MUCH harder, a smarter ) The battle system is easy, but fun. It doesn't take long to get the hang of it. The storylines are awesome, I loved all the cutscenes. The battles go in "phases" First it's your phase where you get to move all you unit, then it's the enemy's and they can move all their units. Unlike FFT, in which units move according to speed, you get to move all of your unit's if you want to in one phase. |

O.o oh! Now I have to play Fire Emblem! It sounds so freakin' fun!!! I need to get some cashola and head over to EB Games! I want Fire Emblem!
I have a question, isn't Marth and Roy(from Super Smash Bros. Melee) off of Fire Emblem? _________________ "You can quote me on that." - Gray |

They're from Sealed Sword. Elliwood is Roy's father. Roy befriends Marth, an outcast prince in SEaled sword. In Fire Emblem, Elliwod is searching for his father and get some surprising...surprises. His dad dies too *sniffle* poor elliwood. The musci made me cry. THe music is awesome by the way. Oh yeah, if you're playing, here's some advice. DON'T LET NINIAN DIE!! You'll see who she is later. There are a couple of levels you HAVE to bring her along. DON'T LET HER DIE!! I did once and missed the BIGGEST cutscene in the whole game. WAAAHHHH!!! |
DON'T LET NINIAN DIE!!
Haha, I'll keep that in mind when I get the game.
Is it possible to just skip the first game and go on to the second? Cause Roy is like, the coolest guy ever and I want to play him! But I also don't want to ruin the experience, y'know? _________________ "You can quote me on that." - Gray |

well you can, but there are really important chars like Ninian and the prince (forgot his name) I can give you a summary if you don't mind being spoiled. FireEmlbem really doesn't take long to beat. Lyn's story only has 10 chapters, I beat it in 3 hourse or less. Eliwoods is a little longer, 31 chapters, and you don't have to play Hector's cause it's almost exactly the smae as elliwoods, cept new chars. Plus, a lot of the chars in Sealed Sword are the sons/daughters of people in Fire Emblem. Chad=Mathew's son, Roy=Elliwoods son, Ray=Nino's and Jafar's son, etc. Also, some chars in Fire Emblem, like Marcus, are also in Sealed Sword. Like I said, I can give you a basic stoyline if you want and don't mind being spoiled. |

oh, and here's some hints for the game. After you get Nils in Lyn's story, make sure he gets to at least level 10. He starts on level one and only gain 10 exp each time he plays (he's a bard, his songs let you move twic in one turn) And you only have him for 3 or 4 chapters (forgot) if you do get him to level 10, you get an extra ring for Ninian in Elliwoods story Rings=SUPER DUPER RARE!!!! |

An extra ring like, a second ____ Grace? or just _____ Grace? because you just have to do that side quest to get the one ring..... Blech I'm still on the 16 sidequest. I trained like.....ONLY Matthew apparently so it's getting harder already, eww.....must...train....at....arena.......... X.x;; |

train at arena at the port chapter. No, it's an extra ring you get right after Elliwoods father dies, right after you get to use Ninian. Nils gives it to her in a cutscene. Not all the rings are called Ninian's Grace or __Grace there some for power, and evasiveness and stuff. |

Port chapter. Yup, that's Chapter 16x I can never get to the arena without someone dying this game though. Usually it's Lucius.....I had him trained so much more last game...... |

What you need to do is have a general and a paladin, Marcus will work. You see, the pirates only attack if you pass a certain point. Put Marcus in the top space, right between the houses, and put your general, probably Oswin, near the bottom. The pirates will attack. If you have Prisilla (or however her name is spelled) and Sarah heal them, then you can bring 3 extra members you want to train. THe pirate will attack, have prisilla stay near Oswin and give her a good staff, and have Sarah heal Marcus, those pirates will be dead within minutes. I have the guidbook so lucky me, I get all the good strategies ^^ |

That's no good strategy when my main goal is not to win, but to train. Marcus is an experience hog! And I refuse to 'evolve' Oswin until he is level 20. I can get past all the guys, I just need better protection of Lucius is all ^_^
deIt: Oh by the way, I've gotten to chapter 23 before so don't worry, I've beaten it before. I just have to get everyone trained!! grrrrr.....Matthew....BAD MATTHEW!
I can't 'evolve' him yet because I don't have the necessary item. <_< |

poor you, I trained Lucius to a bishop. Another thing to do is to Have Marcus stand in fron and let lucius attack with magic from behind, that workds too. I evolved Oswin on level 18, not bad. |

I'm pretty sure it isn't Fire Emblem then. There are actually 8 games, Fire Emblem is the 7th one, but they remade it to look like the first when it was released in US. Maybe the screenshots you saw were on of the other 6? |
