All of the characters in Winnie the Pooh have some type of real mental disorder when you really take it into consideration.

Pooh is a compulsive eater. He eats out of depression and is depressed because he eats.

Eeyore is a classic case of depression. He rarely finds happiness in the simple things and always looks on the less-than-optimistic side. He would be the perfect candidate for Zoloft.

Tigger suffers from ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder.) He can rarely stay still for long and cannot listen to what anyone says. Its not that he doesn't care about other people. He can't help it.

Rabbit is an OCD (Obssesive Compulsive Disorder) case. He is obsessed with neatneess and order and will go into convulsions when even the tiniest detail is out of place. He is the type of character who will die of a heart attack in his thirties even though he is in relatively good physical condition.

Piglet sufferes from low self esteem in a dangerous sense. He is the type of character who goes home and cuts himself because he believes that he is not good enough for everyone else. If any Winnie the Pooh character had to be the angsty one it would be Piglet.

Roo is a follower. Simple as that. He won't second guess his heros and will blindly follow them no matter what. He is the type of character who will be hanging around drug dealers when he's 14.

Kanga is a single parent mother. While this is not a disorder it is something that is commom, yet not spoken about in other kid shows. She wants whats best for her son but because she is also a single parent, she does not have the time to take care of him so she trusts others to do it for hier. Unfortunetly because of Roo's pliable persona, this will ultimetly be her downfall.

And thats the gist of them. Its actually very tolerant of different people n' such. And I still like Tigger. Sad

He's the most bitchin' one out of all of them. I even have a stuffed Tigger at home who wears sunglasses. Smile

Winnie the Pooh was my favorite show when I was a kid.

So I still have a little soft spot for Tigger and Eeyore. Smile

I wish I could post a picture of my Tigger. He's seriously a badass. I gave him his own sunglasses and when I'm not wearing my leather armbands and chains, I put them on him so he's kind of like my accesory holder now. Very Happy

You do know that a little kid made them up and you are all looking to deep into things... I like Winnie the Pooh, (well Eeyore, but not the point) and Im secure enough to admit it. Actually if Im flipping channels and see it Ill watch it. So quit bugging my last outlet to childhood before Im dragged off to legal adulthood... Sad

yea it does...like they have changed the voice of eyore on most things.......
i was rumaging through my old stuff earlier and i came across an old winnie the pooh video..the damn tape still works aswell Laughing
