QUOTE
Oh and just a side note, don't use Aquanet. Seriously, if you are going anywhere that could possibly be flamable then don't use that brand. It was very popular in the 80s but it smells really strong and its one step below creating a helmet for your head.

Screw that, I still have much loyalty for AquaNet. It's cheap, and it works. My kinda product.

As for the smell, you can buy unscented. Aqua Net Superhold Unscented, spiffy purple can.
Ever write a reply and just know what someone was going to say in response to it? Like word-for-word accuracy? Thats how it was when I wrote the above post about Aquanet. I knew fallen was going to defend it to the bitter end. Laughing Rolling eyes

AquaNet does get the job done but I've had bad experiences with it (once had my granny almost spray it up my nose. An accident but enough to keep me away from the stuff for almost a decade. Surprised )

My hair always gets that matted down look unless I blowdry it so I always end up abusing my hairspray useage. That and I'm paranoid about fly-aways (strands that stick out) and I use plenty of spray to keep them down. Wink

Oooooh yes I hate fly aways. Which is why I never wear my hair up. I have a bunch of broken hairs along my hair line of my face that shoot out. It's embarrassing.
I think it's time to go to wegmans and buy SOMETHING.

Buy hairgel spray. Thats all you really need for severe flyaways. Just rub it in your hair lightly after you spray but not too much otherwise the natural oils in your hands will get your hair all greasy n' gross and that is never attractive.

I'm actually looking foward to seeing your pic. I can get really creative with what your hair would look good in n' such. Smile

More tips for the beauty-lacking:

Sixx's Beauty Tip #6: There is such a thing as too much conditioner. And too much conditioner will give your hair that greasy look. The hair will be clean but people won't be able to see that. The best amount is about the size of a silver dollar or whatever you need for just the scalp. Don't worry about the tips so much. You don't even need to wash the tips and its probably best you don't because when you rinse, the conditioner will wash into the tips and they will get clean anyway. It saves a lot of time and conditioner.

Sixx Beauty Tip #7: If you have s then listen up. You cannot buy bras from Wal-Mart! They will not last more than two weeks and they will end up sagging in the bra and that is never attractive ladies. Your best bet is to go somewhere that specializes in bras, like Victoria's Secret and buying a bra that is like $30 and having it for almost half a year than having to spend $8 every two weeks at Wal-Mart because your bra crapped out on you.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #8: Want to lose weight without doing anything? Suck in that stomach at all times. Trust me on this, it helps a lot. From the moment you get up to the minute you go to bed suck in that stomach. Its like doing mini crunches all day. Smile

Sixx's Beauty Tip #9: Another one for the girls; avoid low cut shirts. Not just for keeping away from the trampy look but also for the fact that there is such a thing as gravity and your boobs are not immune to it. If you bend down in a low cut tanktop, gravity will do its job and those puppies are going to give into gravity and fall right out letting people see more than you want them to.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #10: For the people going down the metal path. Chains can be used in many sexy ways. For example, one chain can be used as a necklace one day and the next day you can wrap it around your wrist for a kick ass bracelet. And if you go to your local Home Depot, you can buy these think chains really cheap and actually braid the chains into your hair. And sidenote: don't buy chains from Hot Topic or any other big name retailor like that. You are better off going to Sears or Home Depot and making your own chain accesories and they will cost a fraction of what you would buy at Hot Topic (once bought a chain there for $15 and will never do that again.)

And thats all for now. I hope these tips help. Smile

#6: yes you are too right. If I shower one day and am to lazy to shower the next (on weekends only) my hair gets disgusting from conditioner.
#7: my s?
#8:Ha. One of my many talents. Doesn't work for me if I ate a lot Wink But I am always sucking in.
#9: ew yes. And the worst part is when you're mother has to point out this fact.
#10:Chains are good...thats all I can say. Cause I can't find them anywhere cept stuck to paints.

Sixx's Beauty Tip #11 (for guys): Don't be so damn insecure about your masculinity. If you know you're straight then great! Good for you. Then you shouldn't get so nervous about being in a topic about makeup. Its good to understand sensitivity and womanhood. Thats why God made sympathy pains. Wink

Fine Tom. I'll humor you this time.

Beauty Tip for Tom #1: Use deoderant and collonge. Its sexy and women love it.

Beauty Tip for Tom #2: Chains on pants double as necklaces.

Beauty Tip for Tom #3: Too much hair gel is bad.

Beauty Tip for Tom #4: Too much collonge is bad too.

Beauty Tip for Tom #5: Grow out your hair and experiment. If it doesn't look good super long then cut it to a nicer length.

Beauty Tip for Tom #6: Listen to Sixx. She knows all.

Happy now? Rolling eyes
#1 i do that
Just figured I should remind you. I've had horrible experiences where a guy friend of me stopped showering for whatever reason, I don't know but he did and it was unbearable to be around him. I would sit next to him on a bus and people would look at me weird like it was me that was causing the stink but it never was. BO is a real pet peeve of mine and I'm very paranoid about making sure I don't stink either.

I HATE YOU B.O.! Which is why I hate to wear clingy shirts. So if you're de-o fails the smell clings to your shirt for the rest of the day... bleahg

My personal pet peeve (one of em at least) would be Bad breath. Not a good socail key.

That reminds me! Surprised

Sixx's Beauty Tip #12: When someone offers you a breathmint, take it because it is not a treat for you. Its is a treat for the people around you.

And I don't think I need to remind anyone that the best way to avoid bad breath is to brush your tonge, especially in the back. If you gag on your toothbrush then you are doing it right. Smile

Id share one of my personal rules

1. Never tuck your shirt in (unless its real formal but kinda let it loose)

2. (for guys) never ever ever wear baggy gym shorts that cut higher than the knee cap area (when you sit down)

3. Blending colors in for short sleve over long usually takes a while so Ill give some perfect blends

1. Basically anything with a white long sleve shirt

2. A lighter gray (long or short sleve) will go well with a very dark black (not faded)

3. med. light green (long sleve) with very dark black

4. Yellow is a very hard color to blend well so kinda shy away from it.

5. A med lighter red (long sleve) with black

Those are my rules of fashion.
