Rumors about seasons 2 and 3. Bits and pieces that have been said confidentially or accidentally in interviews and leaked out. No "official" word has been given that there will be more seasons, but knowing how much FOX loves a success (as they continue to shove 24 down our throats), it's not unlikely that they jumped on the chance to sign 'em on for two more.
Abruzzi is gone for good. Peter Stormare didn't mesh with the rest of the cast for one reason or another is the rumored justification, or part of the reason. A shame, but I'll live.
Season two will have the boys out and roaming about. Season three will apparently have them back in prison. As long as "the boys" includes T-Bag, I could really care less what they do. The idea of them going back to prison isn't entirely horrible, nor unrealistic, but...not sure what the hell they'd do back in prison. Sit around saying "damn, we were caught" "yeah, this sucks" "Ah well, I'ma find me a bitch" "no ur not" "yes I am" "no" "yes" "no" "yes" "no" "stfu pretty" "no" "*stab stab stab molest stab*" "ow" Lame.
But I thought the whole thing was going to be lame, so maybe they'll prove me wrong.
Robert Knepper wants T-Bag to look up his papa. Or rather, is wondering and somewhat hoping he will. Revenge makes for good tv. <3
So yeah, to those wondering how it would continue beyond the escape, which from the sound of it...you can expect it to last most of the remaining 9 episodes. It sounds horribly drawn out, but a lot can happen in 12 hours when you're escaping. Gettin' awful close to being like 24 at that point.
Whatever. There ya go. They get out then get back in again. And if you don't click with the rest of the cast, they'll write your character out. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

It's a fucking television show.
Apologies for the huge bump, feel free to ignore this. I just need to vent and have already done so in my Theo community, there's just no one awake to complain with me. And I need to write out my annoyance.
QUOTE (some whiny community that served literally no other purpose than to point out minor flaws in how realistic shows are) | It's quite sad actually how tv shows etc etc, glorify convicts and make them romantic heros. (another nit because dont think for one minute that t-bag doesnt have 74 fansites up and 3008 marriage proposals right now)
1. Who's a romantic hero criminal? Abruzzi? Abruzzi never does anything other than what's in his own best interest, generally harming several people in the process. How many mafia movies are there, how many Scarface fans? People like Abruzzi because he's the mob boss, not because he's cute (obviously). C-Note and T-Bag are out. Sucre's gun wasn't loaded, and maybe, just maybe, some people end up in prison because of a bad decision and are not a psychopath. The only hero is Michael, and he's justified.
2. They are not real criminals. Robert Knepper and Peter Stormare have never killed anyone [to my knowledge, lolz]. Pretty sure RK doesn't touch the kiddies in their naughty place. Peter Stormare isn't sitting around ordering people to be whacked. They're characters doing no real harm to anyone.
3. *in reference to all the other nitpicking in the thread* omgwtf it ish not teh realisticicicic!!!111grrrlol Seriously, right down to how a cavity search is actually performed. Wtf. I may be a cynic, and sure, I spend my share of time thinking "T-Bag wouldn't be in GenPop" and "Lincoln wouldn't get to work PI" in the back of my mind, but in the end, it's just a damn good story, so stfu and stop crying about it. If you want realistic, watch those escape shows on the discovery channel and complain about how the reenactments are done wrong.
4. No one is glorifying T-Bag. What's unfortunate is that so many people can't get over their programmed "killing is wrong. This person killed. I hate this person" mentality to see what a great, complex character he is. People in T-Bag communities aren't there to dote on RK's hair or how good he looks in a white t-shirt, nor discuss how "misunderstood" he is. He's a fuckin' serial killer rapist, rightly incarcerated. The interest comes in why he does it, why he collects weak inmates, what happened to make him that way. If anything, most Theo fans make him far worse than anything canon has shown.
5. RK is not actually T-Bag. He is a man playing a character that is the figment of some writer's imagination. 6 boys and girls are still alive in Alabama. Blaine Hogan (Seth/Cherry) is going about his happy little acting career. Peter Stormare's throat is unharmed. Aside from point 5, it's not like anyone's sitting around admiring Ted Bundy or Jeffrey Dahmer's crimes saying "way to go, boys, keep killing and eating those kids!". It is a clever story, nothing more.
Some people....take life too seriously. I can deal with the people who don't like it or don't like Abruzzi/T-Bag for whatever reason, but come on.
I hate stupid people. This is right up there with those religious freaks who think Harry Potter teachers kids witchcraft. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Well, at least they're gettin' on top of it. Two months to go.
I feel like I had something to say about PB, but now I don't remember. Oh well. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Prison Break gets it's first UK showing tomorrow night. I've been going on about it to everyone I know. They all think I'm off my nut though. <_< _________________ "You know what? My squirrel instinct tells me he's even more of a bastard than I first thought." - Gene Hunt |

Yep, it does. Gray should be getting his discs sometime this week, so he can be a cool kid who already knows what happens.
Every time I mentioned that I watch it to someone back home, they'd think I was insane. Then, as always, I went back for Christmas after it was long over, showed them a couple Theo-heavy episodes, and they all want disc copies. <_< Can't just trust me over the phone, gotta wait until it's a hassle.
But I understand what they mean, I thought it was going to suck from the previews. And I never did like the commercials. They don't reflect the "mood" of the show right.
I just downloaded RK's episode of Star Trek. My computer's gonna die if I keep downloading his past guest spots. So far, I have--
Wild Thing (VHS Analog to digital converters cost too much)
Gas Food Lodging (the sex clip only, courtesy of someone else who gave it to me)
Red Shoe Diaries 2 (cheesy softcore porn )
Profiler (plays a jealous lover)
CSI (plays a crooked guy with a family window business, in a weird relationship with his brother's wife)
Law and Order: CI (plays a controlling plastic surgeon who kills his wife and has a blonde lover)
Species III (evil professor trying to breed a disease resistant strain of killer aliens)
Ya know, he's played good guys too, I just don't have any of them. lol Devious RK makes me happy. With lovers. And bitches.
And I keep seeing PB people in the first season of House. lolz Fox loves its actors. Although Dominic Purcell still scares me. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Nope, I'm not done.
Sadly most of the earlier ones are hard to find. Luckily, I have a resource in Poland who has a lot of them on disc, just has to finish uploading them. That's how I got all of them except Species (downloaded) and Wild Thing (bought). He's been in too much stuff.
Second season of House is muy bien. Especially the AIDS one. And the terminal little girl that wants Chase to kiss her.
I've been hunting down everything with Brian Hamman too, though. Like that video I posted in random ("she's talking about pies"). And an indie film about taxidermy that still hasn't been made into a video. Maytag makes me happy. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. So I finally actually watched the start trek episode 'cause I've seen it multiple times before. Put it on while working on my pastel color wheel. Only got two of the twelve sections done 'cause I kept stopping to watch teh pretty. *cries*
It's quite possibly one of the most boring episodes ever, were it not for the perfect hair and delightful ass hugging pants.

Guh. I felt bad for what's her name, losing the pretty little thing for hairy Beyond Belief: Fact or Fiction Jonathan. Seeing the scary security lady who stars in softcore porn with him five years later creeped me out, but...I still don't know what the point of this episode is. There's no conflict. He just draws some pictures, stands around looking pretty, makes out with the psychic chick, then leaves to go with the half naked one he dreamt about. Thrilling. He served his purpose well, though. Still stupid. "Oh noes, infected alien ship is coming!!!! Oh, it's his hot dream girl. Ok. The end." wtf
This is the only good guy role I have him in. Besides Wild Thing, but that doesn't count, still kills people.
I need to start working on Peter Stormare's filmography, though I've seen a lot of it already. So huge. He's in everything.
Marshall Allman maybe? He was in a gay incest film. I know someone who made a file of it, just need to remember where it is.
If I hunt down everything all three have been in, I think I could make it till March. Maybe.
[apologies for the hair n' ass thing, there's just absolutely nothing good about that episode except for the way he looks, and the talk of being naked. Bleh.] _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Oh, I didn't just pause. I did a few double takes and then rewound to get the screencap. Even did frame by frame to find prime ass-hugging moment. 'Cause it still beat working on my pastel color wheel.
Somehow I don't think young T-Bag looked like young RK. 'Cause you can't complain about your childhood if you looked like that.
For curiosity's sake...

And yet that was one of the least creepy roles. He doesn't really do anything evil besides use cheap materials in his window business and have an emotional affair with his brother's wife (who ends up murdered).
Just an evil lookin' dude. Even in good guy roles he looks sleazy.
Peter Stormare always looks like a mob boss.
Dominic Purcell always looks scary and like he's ready to punch someone. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

He's on House as well? Damn, not seen that one.

Poor Bob. I love him 'cause there's absolutely no upside to his existence. Rookie CO...beat up by the hillbillies...tied up and mindfucked by Theo (he should be grateful it wasn't any other kinda screwing )...teased about his daughter being killed... and then when he has a tiny bit of hope, stabbed. Awesome. Sucks for you, dude.
Still almost my very favorite quote. "After I kill you, I'ma crawl out that hole n' call me up a limousine...and me an' your baby's goin' to the prom."
I wanna go to that prom. Theo probably didn't go to the real prom. Poor guy. Loser.
Then again, how far was Bobby gonna get wandering through a cell block of angry inmates? _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

He had a bad time in 24 as well. Threatens Nina, only for Jack to ruin his hard-man routine by telling him to sit on his ass. Survives a plane crash, and we see him still strapped to the chair, lying outside the wreckage. Jack takes his gun and goes to get help, only for badass commandos to kill poor ol' Bob. Omg spoilers! :o
Then again, how far was Bobby gonna get wandering through a cell block of angry inmates?
'Cause Abruzzi has/had a trace of a conscience. Peter Stormare says he might come back. He should fuck them over now since he can't escape with them. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Recap show is on the 13th of March for anyone who wants to catch up. So you can see a condensed version of major plot points and jump into the last 9 [consecutive, wee] episodes all caught up the next week. Recaps of such shows always suck entertainment-wise but are ok for summary purposes, I guess. Dunno if it'll be a normal recap or a special one like the Behind The Walls special with interviews n' stuff. Hope so, 'cause Rob and Marshall and Peter interviews make me happy.
Like anyone who hasn't already seen it is even checking this thread. But I'm not sending out any more disc sets, so recap or torrent is the best you can do.
They should just play the first 13 starting now. It'd make the time go faster.
And now I've seen the previews on FOX, shitty as always. Bad commercial campaign from the beginning.
Random "lolz wtf" moment:
*on phone*
Me: Once T-Bag dies, that's it for me. Unless Abruzzi comes back. Otherwise I don't really care.
Mother: Better hope nothin' happens to him.
Me: It will, 'cause he's the villain, but not for awhile.
Mother: No, I meant Robert.
Me: .......
The hell. lol Whose first thought is "better hope the actor doesn't die"? My mumsy is craaaaaazy. But obsessed with Wentworth's tats, RK scares her. Pity.
By the way, another random fun fact, I discovered what "Maytag" means. It's pretty obvious what Cherry, Tweener, and Pretty all stand for, but Maytag was the mystery. Courtesy of urbandictionary:
prison slang for submissive homosexual male who becomes a literal slave of dominant male master and performs all the master's chores as well as providing sexual service to the master on command, which may include "tossing salad (analingus), performing fellatio, receiving anal penetration or even performing sexual favors to other prison males as prostitute being "pimped out" by the master. The term is derived from the popular Maytag brand of clothes washers which were advertised to "keep working and working and working...." without malfunction - essentially what the prison maytag must do for his master.
Poor little Maytag. How I love him. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
