haha you are asking the wrooong girl, I know nothing when it comes to viet. I do wish I would have sat down and learned to at least understand it more before I had to go back to Ohio. I stayed with a friend and her family in chicago for a summer, so it gave me a little chance to be around it I guess.
haha I feel your pain, when my friend tried teaching me words like "tree" or "how are you" her little cousin would laugh at me hahaha. as for writing it, It looks so funky to me, so much commas, dashes idoghjfghf or however you spell it jdkghjkghf
ah ich spreche deutsch I stopped talking it after my second year, our teacher was craazzzzzzzzzy. _________________ I'm just a simple MEGGY MAE. |

I can really only speak American English fluently. O.o; Fluent American English is practically an oxymoron.
I'm so-so with Espanolish. << Spanglish for Spanish.
I have a limited vocabulary and little knowledge of grammar in Japanese and Old Norse. ^___^ |

Fixed. :B
I speak English fluently, that much is obvious. :B I also speak Hainan fluently (a dialect of China; another example of such would be Cantonese). I have limited understanding in French, Mandarin and Cantonese - that is, I can't speak it, but I will understand a bit when spoken to. :B I have relatively decent understanding of Japanese (I just need to expand my vocabulary/kanji knowledge a bit), and anyone who's been on the forums for a decent amount of time know that I've been studying that language for quite some time now.
I want to learn German. I really like the way that language sounds, although a lot of people complain it's too gutteral.

Ah, well that proves my statement then, Fay. XD You're quite the Linguist. Do you take up these languages for recreation or do you have some sort of career goal in mind? |

Not really; the only one I'm actively studying (sort of; I've been slacking as of late ) is Japanese. The other asian languages are household, so I hear them all the time (hence why I can understand Mandarin and Cantonese a bit but not speak them). French, well... it's staple in Canada (like how Spanish is the basic second language in the US) and I've been forced to study it for about seven years (but since I stopped studying it for Japanese, I can't really output French anymore D: ).
I don't have a career goal in mind. If it were up to me, I'd be a child forever but, alas, things just don't work that way in the real world. D:
I'ma be a full time drug dealer. _________________

-ha being pronounced as -wa when used with a noun was the second lesson in my Japanese lesson. Memorizing the entire Hiragana was the first. : / _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Wow, looks like lots of people know German. I can't help but be surprised. I took a year of German back in high school, but I've forgotten most of it now. Also studied Spanish for all of middle and high school, but can't really speak it anymore. I do all right with reading though.
Erm, yeah, English is my first and best language, and I'm finishing up my third year of Japanese study. Still not very good at it, especially when it comes to reading/writing kanji. But learning languages is fuuuuuuun... I love it. ^^ |

Fluent English. A fair amount of Spanish.
A phrase in Serbo-Croatian from a song I heard.
Dali cuje te sve djecje molitve?
(Daa-lee chu-hyet-ay svey jay-che mole-eat-vey)
How many different languages do people fluently speak here? _________________ If you are going to live like there is no God, you'd better be right.

English-fluently, Spanish-a bit(apparently some words in my native tongue are Spanish), Tagalog(my native tongue)-ito ang ginagamit ko madalas sa mga usapan., Bisaya or Cebuano(another native tongue in my country, only in another province)-mao ni ang ikaduhang gamiton nako sa pag-istorya.
Here are some languages I don't speak, though tere are some phrases, sentences or words I understand in them: Japanese, French, Chinese, Latin(actually, we practice Latin prayers in our school and parish)...I forgot the others.
