Yep, Steve Burton. I think he's awesome as Cloud's VA. Doesn't look much like Cloud, though.

I didn't mind it all that much, because you can't really hear Sephiroth talk anyway, with all the attacking-noises and stuff.

I'm pretty sure Sephiroth's VA in KH2 is not Lance Bass this time. A lot of fans were much displeased with that choice , so I think it's the same guy who did his voice for AC. Though I haven't encountered Seph in KH2 yet, so I can't be sure.

I have a friend who refuses to play it for the exact same reason. Hell, I refused to play it for the first year because of that. I finally caved in though, and found out that it's not that bad at all. Sephiroth has about three lines and "HURRR" grunts a couple of times. It's definitely not as terrible as you think it is!!! SAYS ME.
The fun of the game totally outweighs the stigma attached to his voice.

I was a little hesitant at first when I heard that Roxas'(KH2) VA was going to be Jesse McCartney...but he didn't do a bad job at all, IMO.

ONLY TWO MORE DAYS. Until AC. XD I'm nervous to hear their english voices, too...

I saw it a while ago in japanese w/ english subs, it is spectacular. Even though its on my computer i think I'll buy the 2 disk DVD set.

I went out and bought the dvd this week. Extras were pretty piss poor. Was expecting more. <_<

Then I had fun watching the dub. Cait Sith had some shitey Scottish accent; "Lassie shut yer gob!" Jesus... :lol:

Some bits were good. When Sephiroth sayd "Good to see you Cloud." Damn, that just oozed coolness. Too bad it didn't keep up.

My boyfriend surprised me with that movie on Thursday and we watched it together (he never played a single FF game in his life but he still watched it nonetheless. Now that is love. :wub: )

We both were like in awe of the artwork in this movie. That is how CGI should be done. It was flawless.

Storyline was good. I was still confused about Giostigma and how the children got it but other than that, it was a great story and sequel.

My only problem with the movie is that a lot of secondary characters didn't get a lot of screen time. Like Cid and Red XIII and Cait Sith and even Barret got copped out of some speaking parts. I think Reno and Rude got more screenplay than them and they weren't even main characters in the game. I was looking foward to finding out how Red XIII sounded and all he got was like one line at the end.

But other than that, great movie. They should make another one.

You should: it kicks butt. OMG!!!! I was soooo p.o'd that Nanaki (Red 13) only got 1 speaking part! It made me verrrry angry. Play KH2: the voice actor for Sephiroth kicks ass. As soon as I heard his voice, I went into fangirl mode. Then again, the Japanese voice actor kicks butt too. Also, the deleted scenes arent' very juicey at all: they're like a few seconds added to or taken from the original version.

Me and my friends have a bunch of fave quotes from both of the versions. Like, when Denzel wakes up and runs, screaming "Kyonara!" at the monster? That was great. They changed it from Kyonara (you bastard) to "you S of a B" in English, but still. And then you have the Cait Sith and Yuffie part, which, agreed, rocks. "Discrimination!" "Sexist!" She's so Rikku-ish.

One thing that drove me absolutely UP THE WALL though? Dilly dally shilly shally. They switched "Zerutseru, Zerutseru" (drifting, drifting) to that stupid thing. ^ I stared at the scream increduously when I first saw it. I thought they'd do a better job than that.

Maybe it's me and my friend in all our yaoi-lovingness, but I swear to god that Sephiroth's hitting on Cloud! Like, when he says: "On your knees and beg for mercy," I couldn't stop laughing. And he keeps saying that "We'll make a new world." My rational mind knows that he's probably talking about Jenova and all of the Remnants, but my yaoi-loving mind screams: SephirothXCloud! :wub: :wub: :wub: "Hello, Cloudo." Me and my friend have so many jokes about how Cloud, Sephiroth, and Vincent are running around to find a closet.

Another of my favorite parts was the one with Rude and Reno on the bridge. That just cracked me up. I think I had that conversation in my siggy at one point . . . And Barret wearing fishnet. What can get better than that?

I was silently hoping that cam clarke would sneek his way into the dub. but crispen freeman is here, so i am happy. Steve blum even shoved his way into the movie. and as vincent. sweet. i'm glad they stuck it out for the talented va's for AC. now i'm sure it won't be like watching a 4kids dub. I jkust need to know where i can go to find it for less than 24 freakin'$

I wasn't expecting Christy to do yuffie's voice again to be honest. once you've been on broadway, and didn't show up for the sequal of your previous role, it wasn't something i thought was going to happen.

Is Beau Billingslea Black? Because dubs of japanese productions are notorious for getting non-brothas to do voices for black guys.
