No, not at all. As mediocre as Twilight is, it is no worse than any other popular fiction. It's on the same tier as Harry Potter, Artemis Fowl, Interview with a Vampire, and other such books aimed at preteens that, while a fun read, get far more attention then they deserve. Fowl is a bit clever, but the writing and mythos are on the same basic level.

Vampire Chronicles weren't meant for preteens originally, but they turned into that by the end of The Vampire Lestat.

Even then, the Potter mythos is meh.

Fuckin' Dark Tower mythos was fucking amazing though.

Kinda. It overlaps a shitton of stuff, and connects a shit ton of Stephen Kings other things together.

It's easily his best though. Blows everything else away by miles.

Eh. I've started to dislike it just because a lot of fangirls at school have left a bitter taste in my mouth. But as a guilty pleasure, once in a great while I'll flip through New Moon. I like that one because Edward's hardly in it Very Happy

And I just try to pretend she didn't eff up Jacob's character at the last minute so Bella would have reason to go back to Edward >_<
