The Castle of Cagliostro & Bubblegum Crisis are not obscure.

Demon City Shinjuku should be, if only because it was really really bad.

I think the only anime I've ever seen that might be remotely labelled as "obscure" would be [i]Yami to Boushi to Hon no Tabibito[/i].

It's a fairly recent anime (within the last couple years), and if it's obscure, I'm guessing because of the heavy lesbian content. =P It's been described as the female side of a pair - the male side being [i]Yami no Matsuei[/i]. Lol. Although it's based off an H game, there's none in it - just a lot of fanservice. o.o;

I just started watching it because of the funny title. X3

The best obscure anime will always be, in my opinion, Daimos.
