Fire Emblem for GC was originally planned for American release in June 2005.
Date got pushed back to either October '05 or November '05. Might get pushed back again.

(am pretty sure those dates are right..)

really? Hm, don't think I've heard about it, that's cool though. Is it the same storyline?

More has been revealed on the game's storyline. The game takes place on the continent of Telius, which is split up into numerous states. Taking the role of main character is blue-haired Ike. Ike is striving to become a full member of the Grail Mercenary Group, which is headed up by his father, Grail. Grail is a strict leader, but a just one, and has thus earned the trust of his followers. His past is shrouded in the expected level of mystery, though.

Taking other roles in the Grail Mercenary Group are Tiamat, the second in command who seems to be very much connected with the group. Mist is more closely connected to Ike, seeing how she's his sister. She supports the mercenary group from the shadows, keeping a "Medallion" keepsake from her mother at her side.
