Eh, I guess so. For the reply that person gave me, I'm not good with names.

Posers, rockers, whatever they are I love'im, and I respect'im. Just like Blink-182.... anyway. There are a lot of different kinds of music, and to be truthful I listen to a lot of different kinds. Not just the "punky-rocky-gothy" stuff. I listen to Country and pop, and sometimes rap. ( I hate Brittany Spears and Christina whateverhernameis.... ) and I really enjoy any music I hear.... I even listen to the piano playings, sometimes.

Also, for that person who said "would you like to go through that?" ( or whatever, I usually just skim through this stuff.... ) yes, I would. Greatly. You know, GC ain't what's keeping me alive right now. It's my friends, they say if I commit suicide they'll hurt themselves too. ( bribary or something.... )

GC kept me alive for a couple years but I'm running myself now.... for the time being, atleast. ( almost let my life slip through my fingers a few times.... more than a few times.... )

But I'm happy now. And don't give a flying f**k about anything, because Kinky just punched me in the side of the head and I can't feel much of anything.... Smile

I'm the person who asked you about "Would you really want to do that?", and to tell you the truth, there's more sufferring in dying then there is in life. You don't want to go through more pain than you had, trust me, or better yet, trust my mom.

Goddammit, next time 98X tries to play "Complicated", my fuckin' radio is goin' out the window. Grr!

Sorry, I don't trust people I don't know, or care about....

Anyway, I really didn't read most of what you wrote.... I just skim by stuff.... so.... I wanna go through suffering, at this point. I'm not trying to be "punk" or "goth" or s**t. It's just suffering at this point, is an option.

This isn't a thread about emotions anyways. It's about punk rock, "punk" rock, and pop punk. Fact has been stated. Opinion has too.

Now, here's a conflict: Linkin Park.

They have been classified as metal. NO. Punk posers, but wait, what's this? Rapping in the verses?! A new "genre" has been born. I call it "s**t".

"s**t" is punk that has been mutated so horribly, it is no longer recognizable as punk, "punk", or pop punk.

I have named this genre myself. Make additions as necessary.

That phrase annoys me anyway. It's usually used to refer to cheap flavor of the month groups, anyway, so now that you clarify that "shit" is not good, I understand better. :D

And just for a little variety, I'm gonna throw Stryper into the shit. They put God into spandex and big hair, and God wants no part and has no place in hair metal. If you're wearin' spandex and aquanet, you'd better damn well sing like it. Cool

I always get a kick out of those comments, written like I've never heard shit about [i]my[/i] favorite bands. My boys have had upwards of 20 years to be spit on, these new pop punk groups...what, maybe 5? If they think seeing someone say ____ isn't punk is some horrible injustice, they should try seeing a career's worth of the artist being called cheap, worthless, and an insult to music. It ain't worth it to throw a fit.

But I'll be gone for the next five days or so, and I imagine there will be at least one such response by the time I get back. Rolling eyes
