Lack of color is certainly not a flaw here, the high-contrast black and white is very striking. However, as I'm not familiar with WR or much anime, I don't get much out of it. 3 out of 5 says my verdict.

I really like your pic. I think you are very creative with that one. I think they look funny as lego characters. Good job on the colouring and being able to create them with really accurate details (eg. hair,clothes, etc...)

I'm calling that at a 4 out of 5. Great lighting and color quality on the scene, particularly the low amount of contrast on his skin, which makes it seem to "glow" (compare to his robes, which have higih contrast). I'm not entirely sure he's holding that hammer at the right angle for a strike though... but it's great.

Very nice work SD!

I've seen a lot of them Kubrick (?) toys customized into a lot of things, but this is the first FF VII representation in 2D at least, that I've seen.

Nice colors as always. Between this and your other works, you probably have tons of Colored Pencils in stock huh? Wink

24 hues -- about 10 of which I use regularly -- plus white, colorless blender, and eraser (I do consider the eraser as a "color") :)

I'm not sure what the heck is going on in that mecha pic, but I do like mecha (to an extent), and I can't fault your lineart for anything. I'm calling that a 5 out of 5 today.

Next up! This is work-in-progress, so if you can critique it quickly (and I do mean quickly, as in "no later than noon Sunday"), that'll help. Otherwise, the finished version isn't going to be much different from what you see already (except, of course, for colors and shading):

It very cute and nicly drawn but since it's a cutsy chibi pic I think brighter more vibrant colors would have worked better (as of now it looks a tad washed out at least on my computer screen)

I love the coloring and the expression. The only problem I have is that it looks like his hair is going into his head where it meets in the back. Elsewise, it's really awesome.

9/10. I really like this colours and how he is half angel, half devil. It reminds me a lot of the Change of Hearts card in Yu-gi-oh. I really like his expression, he looks so sad. I also really like his hair and horn on the devil side of his face. Good job Smile
