What is the number one reson why you play Final fantasy 10 and 10-2?

I like it becuase of the cloths and the fighing/action

I play it cuz I like videogames (actually never have played X-2 yet). And it's a RPG. And I like RPGs. So yeah, it all works out.

Well, I liked the first one way more, loved the summoning.
I love RPG's, ff's being the first i really played.
I like storyline, summons, fantasy world, shows imagination.........etc.........
It matches alot of ppls moods, coz its got adventure, action, romance......etc......

I guess I liked X and X-2 because of their combat systems. Both the sphere and garment grids were good, innovative ideas that didn't leave characters restricted to certain skills like their predecessor IX. The characters were nothing to shout about; Rikku and Brother just irritated the crap out of me.
Both games also had great replay value. The dark aeons were a good challenge, plus you had bosses like Penance, Nemesis and the creator of New Yevon (forgot his name) to keep you busy.
But I felt both games were a bit linear. At times X would seem pushed in a certain direction. There wasn't even a map screen like in previous games, where the player would wander around aimlessly, hoping for a secret quest or item. I just think this took a little something away from the game.
X definately had an awesome opening FMV, the whole blitzball game with "Otherworld" blaring just set the tone of the game for me.
Plus, Shuyin was a damn good idea for an enemy. He goes against the traditional final boss. Instead of fighting some God-like entity like Saviour Sephiroth or Necron, it's a straight fight with one guy. Nice touch, and "Terror of Zanarkand" was a fitting special attack for him.

Just thought I'd throw in my opinion on the two games. ^_^

10 and 10-2 great games, I only played the first one with my firned, the second one I hear is pretty good, but I like them both, they're awsome. so yeah!

FFX-2 and FFX were the first FFs ive ever played in my life!! I got 2 hand it 2 Square Enix, they do a pretty good job with the FF series!!! Ever since i played those 2 titles, I've been pverly addicted and playing all the FFs i can get my hands on.... Razz
