Yeah! Why hasn't anyone asked this question yet? Lol! Anyways...my fave book? OMG! Thats so frickin' hard 'cuz there's so many that I've read and each has had an impact on my life somehow. Let's see...I have to say though that one book that I'll never forget even ten years from now would be The Vampire Lestat. Its the sequal to Interview with the Vampire and it just had everything that I could ask for in a book. Action, humor, tragedy, and lots of romance (that sadly, ends in tragedy...and then the main character Lestat falls in love with another guy but that also ends on a bad note but it got better in the end. Lmao!)
But there's one book that I'm reading right now that might tie with TVL! Its the novel It by Stephen King. Its so frickin' scary! Its about these adults who get a call from an old childhood friend telling them that It is back and It is this evil being in their hometown that takes the form of whatever someone fears the most and kills children. Its really intense and hard to put down. Just when you think this book isn't gonna scare ya, It changes into a form that scares even me! I really recommend this for anyone who is a fan of Mr. King or just the horror genre in general. (But if you're a fan of the horror genre then wouldn't ya already be a fan of Stephen King's work? Think about it! He is considered the king of horror.)
But now I'm just rambling so...thats it. Those are my two favorite books and I recommend them to everyone.

I like so many Books! I'd have to say that my favorites are:
Harry Potter and the Order of the Pheonix
Harry Potter and the Prizoner of Azkaban
The Darren Shan Saga (all 10 books in the series that I have read)
The Lord of the Rings Series
Alicia, My Story
The Secret Country
Holes
I have tons of other favorites but, if I kept listing them, we'd be here all week! ^^ |

I just finished reading a book called Return of Dracula, my first vampire book, yay! It was actually good and I decided it was one of my favorites. Well judging by the title you can already tell what its about, Dracula returns! Its a long story on how it happens and I dont wanna give any spoilers, so read it yourself .
When I was about 10 I read a series of 7 called Broken sky each one is really short (about 180 pages) and bog text. Exept for the last one, its 522 pages. Its a really tragic story (again I dont wanna give spoilers so read it!) Those were all also great, but I read them such along time ago I can hardly remember it.

Yeah, Broken Sky was awesome. It was written for younger readers, so I was a little disappointed when I read it (I was maybe 16 or so), but it was a really good series.
The Vampire Lestat, is also very good as are Interview with the Vampire and Queen of the Damned, and the Harry Potter books (esp. 3), David Weber's Honor Harrington series (space opera, very awesome and I highly recommend them), Anne McCaffery's Pern and Talent books, Mercedes Lackey's Valdemar series, Lord of the Rings, Narnia....So many good books! |

'Mort,' by Terry Pratchett. I love this book, it was the first Pratchett I ever read, and it got me hooked on the discworld series. No other author can make me laugh out loud like he can. I think that his humour is perhaps very English though. |

Hmmm.... favorite book. I've got a lot that I love.
My abiding favorite would be On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony. Anthony just has some great ideas, and I always enjoy how he writes.
My favorite writer/artist would be Clive Barker, for the Abarat series, and The Thief of Always.
My favorite artist/writer is Jhonen Vasquez. For JTHM, Squee!, and I Feel Sick.

No book will ever amount to more than the Silmarillion ^.^ It's the prequel to The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, the history of the people of Middle-Earth, in which they go to war with a Dark God/ Vala, who was Sauron's teacher. Sauron is such a wussy compared to Melkor Most people stop reading since the first part is when the Valar are creating the world, and they say it sounds a lot like the Bible? Oh, and the names are confusing: Fingon, son of Fingolfin, son of Finwe. Not really too hard, I think and the whole thing isn't like the beginning. It's amazing-- sad, but amazing. |

Dude! ... you rock... lol
Well, I like the RE novels too (the ones based on the actual game) by SD Perry.
And I also like the RE books (based on the movie) by Keith RA DeCandido, but not as much as the ones by Perry.
I also enjoy the Harry Potter series.
Sadly, I haven't had been reading much... I should really read some more... |

My favorite book is probably The Princess Bride God, I do love that book...And the movie wasn't too bad either.... I also liked Define Normal not really as a book in a whole, but it's meaning...It really just asked "What makes something (or rather someone) weird?" I liked it a lot.
I like Ella Enchanted as well, but the movie didn't follow the book very well AT ALL...
As my library says, "Don't judge a book by its movie."
I also adore the Harry Potter series, but the fifth book didn't suit me very well...
Janet Evanovich's "Stephanie Plum" novels are also one of my favorite series. They have quite of bit of humor in them.
And I've been really liking "Blind Alley" as well.... Very suspence thrilled, and has a great storyline. I just love it. _________________ If I was anymore hardcore, I'd be arrested. |
