Ok so Im going to get a new computer, and with it I was thinking of buying a scanner, so that Im not always having to use my schools.

The computer is probably going to be a Dell, so I was wondering if anyone knew what scanner would be the best kind to go with it

I don't have much experience with shopping for scanners. I just have an HP scanner, and I know how to use it.

if you want the run-of-the-mill size (typically 10 x 14 I think...), most should work fine (I've had two different models of Visioneer -- they're pretty good)

But if you need something bigger (like if you use B4 sized paper) then you might want to try Mustek (they're the only ones I've found that sell larger scanners meant for home use)

Far as I've seen... average, everyday scanners are actually 8.5"x11".
