Now, I am usually a pretty anti-disco person. But last year I went to see the "Mamma Mia!" musical and I fell in love with the songs of ABBA. My friend let me borrow her Gold CD recently and I just can't stop listening to it.
Yes, it's cheesy. But the songs are so well crafted, the production so slick, the melodies so catchy, their vocals so great, I can't help myself.
Disco is pretty mindless, so if you're going to listen to it, you might as well go the whole hog and pick ABBA.
