Games That Turn Into Movies

hay all

I was just thinking and i looked and didn't find a place to post this so i made a place.

I was thinking what games would make an actual [b]good[/b] movie. I know that most good or bad movies turn out to be bad games and viceversa. EX: Mario Brothers. I wasn't all that good of a movie. But it was interesting to watch. Plus, I can't wait for Advent Children as another example.

SO here's the real thing were going to try to talk about. What games would make a really good movie. I know that i would like to see Resident Evil 4 made into a movie. I would so love to watch it. Anyway just tell me what you think.

I think Soul Calibur would be interesing.I mean at the beginning of the game it kinda looks like a trailer

yeah that is true but hopefully they won't make it like Mortal Combat. they killed off my favorite character. JOHNNY CAGE. It was interesting but they really could of done a better job with acting.

kingdom hearts would make a better movie than a cartoon

true but then who would play all the charaters. it would be strange to see goofy and donald in real life so i bet they would computer animate them. But that would be a most awesome movie sir. The so called TV series that might or might not be released in the USA sounds cool but it would be all cartoony.

OH I LOVE YOU! you are like the first person here, other than me, that has so much as mentioned Resident Evil! Hellz yes! Did you know that in the IGN readers choice awards Resident Evil 4 got the number 1 spot out of 99 games? It was the #1 game of all time to date! I don't have an Xbox or GameCube or whatever platform it is on now, but I WILL get the RE4 Chainsaw controller when I find it, just to have it, even tho I won't be able to use it Sad

Ii know no one seems to either A. Want to mention it becaue they are scared or B. They are just to lazy to talk about the best horror/sirvival game ever.

Just think. Leon Kennedy in a movie where he battles monsters and zombies and rescues the presidents daughter i know that this would actually be a really good movie hands down.

The only way it would suck is if they got bad actor or directors and such and if they had a bad budget for the film. That is all i can think of that will make a bad movie of RE 4.

I love movies about the entire world in danger. Zombies eating everybody is cool. Fighting zombies and man-made creatures is cool. Saving the world is cool.

Oh, BTW, how do you think Jill and the team will be able to take on Alice in Resident Evil 3, the movie? She is just so powerful, killing a man just by looking at him! Beating Nemesis without any powerful weapons. So powerful.

hard to say really. I guess they should do it the old fashioned way blow every living thing to kingdom come. that's right an imaginary H bomb will appear and blow everything up. There done....... Cool

Strange that you brought up Soul Caliber, Kiger Taru. I read somewhere (at this movie place) that this company was going to make a Soul Caliber movie. I think that SC would be a great movie, of course, and I'm hoping that it's true.

Other than that, how about a Legend of Zelda movie?

It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.

Lord of the rings made a decent game with lots of pretty graphics and stuff but i wish they would of let you make your own character. I absolutly love games that let you customize your character's look and stuff. The more customization the better.

As for a legend of zelda game i think it could work but the only problem is that link cant talk for some reason. I don't think a 2 hour movie of HU-yah will do at all.

Star Ocean is already an anime, so that's crossed out, so is .hack, gar, KH has been mentioned,...gah, I'm out of ideas that haven't been mentioned

There can never be too much stelth in a movie. I think that would be cool. It would need more action then stelth though.

Would a movie of the entire smash brother's melle gang work out if they had a reason to all come together and fight against a huge evil that threatens there very way of life. I do have to say that pikachu link and the others all together in one movie kicking some butt would be cool. But i'm not sure it would be all that successful.

with a bit of tweeking gta sanandreas could make it come to think of it, its got all that gangsta quality to it, like brother from another mother stuff, pluss all the cool stunts in missions, :wub:

It was kinda funny xD although I dont remember it very well cause I saw it long ago.

Morrowind??That movie would be like...5 hours long. The level go into the thousands in that game. Besides, I think any game that gets made into a movie, will be completely and utterly destroyed.
