Lately it seems like all of our favorite bands are touring with bands that aren't popular to fans. For example, VR fans aren't exactly true blue fans to Hoobastank and yet we have to sit through them for almost an hour before watching what we came for.
So what bands do you believe should tour together? Sort of like setting up your own Ozzfest only I'm going to be nice and allow all genres in here. Just state the name of the band and the order you would like to see them. Try to keep bands in the same genre and consider who would tour best with each other. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |

I love these threads, only because it always ends up with people who make impossible lineups. Bands that have broken up or "separated" and are in no condition to tour, groups that hate each other, groups that only appeal to the person making the list and not most fans in general, good stuff...
Anyway:
The "Repeat Success" Tour (not a real name, it'd suck)
Poison - Co Headline
Cinderella - Co Headline
Faster Pussycat - second openers
RATT - first openers
Reason: Poison's been a great headlining act for 18 years. Since 2000 they've continually managed to draw thousands of people to their headlining tours. I'm taking a little bit of liberty in adding them, since it's a break year while a few members get their s**t together, but they managed to open for KISS without too many problems, and I think with a little bit of tolerance (and self control on C.C.'s part), they could get their shit together.
Cinderella doesn't get near the attention Poison does on their own, but they're headlining the Rock Never Stops tour this summer. They opened for Poison a few years ago and were phenomenal, practically blew Poison away with how good they still are. Plus, Poison and Cinderella are different enough in sound but similar enough in fanbase that fans of Poison would like Cinder too. They've also both upgraded their image to be modern while still keeping the glam edge and accepting that they're still a party hairband.
Faster Pussycat was on the Poison/Cinder tour before, and they're still amazing as well. Unfortunately, their sound has evolved to not be quite so compatible, but all their old songs that they'd play as an opening act would be perfect. They're always good for a laugh, doing crazy antics to keep the audience interested in them. Their sound in unique from all the others, and they share a lot of the fanbase.
RATT is still talented with a similar vibe to Poison, but they've gone way downhill since their prime. They share a fanbase and would be good enough to warm people up. Plus, I think it's funny that Poison started out opening for RATT, and now RATT would be opening for them.
So there's mine. I wasn't able to go to the Poison/Cinder/Pussycat tour, and that makes me sad. So here's an even better one of bands that are still incredible talented, work well together, and would draw one hell of an 80s rock fanbase! _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C.
