Final Fantasy X-3

I heard from a lot of different people and websites that a new FF sequel for FFx might be coming out. It is FF X3 and it will follow Rikku and her story. I can't wait it seems so cool I mean if it comes out . Alot of people said it will ruin square but I think it would help them it is an awesome idea.

I kinda doubt that. I seem to recall Square wanting to do two FFX sequels in the first place (one for Yuna, one for Rikku), but sort of compromised between them and came out with FFX-2.

Besides, how many times can you save one world?

Well u do have a point but I still would like to see Rikku's story I mean Yuna sort of had both FFx and X-2.

Rikku? In her own story? Christ, her and Brother were annoying enough in X and X-2, another game of them would be too much.

FFX-2 sucked enough to partially ruin FFX for me. Why the hell would you want a FFX-3?!?!? WTF?

Psychotic people. How could you possibly like that game. It honestly had no real storyline. Extremely boring. I couldn't bear to play it past the one shooting game in Besaid. <_<

I second that Cool

I was never able to finish it.
It was just not interesting enough.
No driving plot.
Only three playable characters.
I lost interest when the Aeons started coming back

I second that Cool

I highly doubt that FFX-3 will be made. FFX-2 was a big mistake. Yes, it was extremely beautiful, but all in all it had a crappy story line with plot holes.
I love Rikku, but I don't think Square could come up with a good enough story to make an interesting game. Oh well....now if they made FFX-3 and it was all about Seymour, that would be an excelent game! J/K

I sincerely hope not, but with the recent whoring of Final Fantasy VII by Square-Enix, it would not surprise me.

Yes and no. (Slight spoiler!) They were the final bosses of chapters 2 and 3, and normal bosses in chapters 3 and 5.

Seriously though, the whole "swarming with fiends" thing was just clich. So... fanfictionlike....

Me too. o.o; And when I tried to pick the game back up, I died right away because I couldn't remember how the battle system worked. And it was nice of SE to make it *look* like it was *kinda* real-time, but that just confused me, when all three of them would move around at once. >_<

And you only get to use three characters. And they're all girls. Fanservicy girls. =_=;;;

Would be interesting on how they would come around to making it good though.
I wasn't to impressed with ff10-2, I loved the original FF10. I hated the way they took most of the characters out of being main characters for the second one, and didn't like it totally as a whole, Yuna's main bit was being a summoner, then different in the second.

i mean FF X was awesome i mean the their was a big story line there. Also FF x-2 was cool I think because of the girl power and there was a story line you just had to find it by actually playing past the first cahpter.

Sequels can be good but most of the time u can't beat the 1st, original one. It goes in games and quite often movies, especially in horror flicks.

FFX2's storyline didn't really emerge until the end of Chapter 2.

They came up with a passable explanation for why you had to go fighting your own aeons, but from a game development standpoint, all it does is re-use animations and graphics from the first game. I suppose they were probably inspired by the "Dark Aeons" in FFX International.

The problem is that if you fought the dark aeons in FFX, the X-2 incarnations were piss-poor in comparison.
