We've practically all been to either a zoo or aquarium on a school field trip, but where's the strangest place your school has ever planned for a field day?

In 7th grade we were once taken to see the nuclear power plant. Weird... like any of my classmates needed to be exposed to anymore radiation. WTF?

Lets see... Like the most field trips I take are with my art gifted glass so mostly I've been to museums. But allow me to list everywhere I've been.

4 or 5 different museums
a couple of aquariums
Went camping once
went to a college( we also drove there in an SUV!)
and a ropes corse.

I've enoyed my field trips.

I live in PA so in elementary school we got screwed into going to Niagra Falls every year. We did go to Toronto once to the science Museam. Number of times I've seen those god damed waterfalls--->9 I think I could be a tour guide there.

Other "Fun" field trips"
State Parks
Mc Donalds
Couple farms
Aquarium
Camping
Staying over night at the school
Bird watching (there were no birds...all we saw were echs others sun burned faces)
For french club we saw Les Misarables..after that we were forced to admirer the beauty of Niagra Falls for the 1000th time.

Went to New York City for a fifth grade feild trip. That was really special because my dad and I climbed to the top of The Statue of Liberty together and we got to see the New York skyline, just the two of us. It was a really special moment for both of us.

Other feild trips I've taken were just to the Maritime Aquarium and this yearly trip to Hartford Art College for an award showcase. Its very fun with all the talented artists n' all. Smile

It was probably because of the altitude of the volcano.

No, its an active volcano, it exploded on 64 or 63 when JFK was in Costa Rica, its like 3000m over sea lvl and we were freezing, it isnt so cold when you are near a wall but near the crater where there isnt anything to stop the wind you freeze your ass out...
