Tomb Raider

I never actually played many of the old Tomb Raider games; I always found them to be a bastard to control, especially via keyboard, joystick and whatever. Although I did enjoy Tomb Raider III...but then I got bored and gave up.

Anyway, I just bought TR: Legend for my PS2 (*hugs PS2*), after having played the demo. The demo...wasn't too great first time round, but that was just because I was getting used to the controls, which I wasn't used to. Second time round, I had a bit of fun messing with the combat system; rolling people into the air, and playing with the equilibrium-esque-front-flip-duel-pistol-shooting...which still shot straight

Anyway, does anyone already have the full game?

I don't know about any new Tomb Raider game but I thought Tomb Raider 2 was the best out of the all of them. I think its the only one I ever got anywhere near the end without cheats.

Well in any case the game's out now I think. Could've sworn I saw it on sale at the shops the day.

Best one so far for 3 was the 4th one. But that's not saying much. I've never really been a fan of the series.

bI didn't care much for the Tomb Raider games but I have to admit that Lara looks a whole look better on the new game.

I hated the way everything worked in uhh..Dark Angel? Chronicles?
I can't even remember the name, I disliked it so much.

Yep, I've seen the game around for about a week or two.
Lara does look cool in the new one. Hopefully it will be better than the last two, no way were Chronicles or Angel Of Darkness was anywhere near the best.

Well...I just completed the new one.
Wow...you guys really didn't know about Legend? I wasn't even all that keen on them (the only one I got into was III...I think, and I gave up around the mummy bit...hey! I was young!), and even I knew about it.
It is much better. The clunky movement is gone, the inhumanely large breasts have been shrunk, and the story is very good. I'd advise anyone who liked the earlier ones to go out and buy it.
Three setbacks to it I found are as follows: Not amazing framerate, too short, and the camera is often annoying. Besides that, it is definately worth buying.
It's one hell of a lot better than the latest Prince of Persia, that's for damn sure.
