I know many people don't like Shakespeare because you study im in school, and that kind of takes the fun out of it, but I've been a Shakespeare fan since I was in a kid's production of MacBeth at the age of 8, so I just fin all of his plays exciting! And that's the way you have to think of it, as entertainment. because that's what he wrote it for.
My favorite play of his is King Lear, has anbody else got one? _________________ |

I actually don't mind Shakespeare myself. Although I've only read "Romeo and Juliet" and "Macbeth" I quite enjoyed it. I really really really liked Macbeth alot. I thought it was wicked cool!
... who were you in the kid's production of Macbeth? |

The third witch. I had a chance to be Lady MacBeth, but declined to do it because I thought I would have to put ketchup on my hand for the "out, damn spot" scene!

I haven't really read shakespeare outside of class, but I do like reading it in class I've only read Caesar and Romeo and Juliet. Oh, but I did start Othello (read the first few pages) and liked it so far. I saw a play of A Midsummer Night's Dream and the movie "O" based on Othello. I've also seen 10 Things I Hate About You, which is actually based on The Taming of the Shrew |

Ooh, I love Shakespeare. I've read quite a few of his plays, but haven't had the chance to see many.
Got to see the Royal Shakespeare company once though, which was awesome. It was Romeo and Juliet, which isn't my favourite by any means, but they were fantastic.
Overall I like Macbeth best, but I might change my mind if I ever get to see Hamlet (I've read it and liked it, but I'd love to see it performed). |

We read one of his plays in English. It's called "A Midsummer's Night Dream." It has the weirdest love triangles than any other book I've read |

I like Shakespeare. I've read most of his works. Out of those I've read, I especially liked these: King Lear, The Tempest, Taming of the Shrew and The Merchant of Venice. I like most of the sonnets he's written too. And although Romeo and Juliet is probably the most famous of his works, I've never actually read it. It might be because of all the movies I've seen about it that it's not that interesting to read anymore. |

Taming of the Shrew was one play I wasn't that crazy about, actually. I just found it too dated and sexist. But that's me. _________________ |

i feel nerdy....ive read a midsummer nights dream (LOVE IT!) macbeth (ok) hamlet (GOOD) taming of the shrew (totally awesome) love labours lost (hilarious) and i've read all his sonnets (kinda boring) MSND i read in second grade along with macbeth and hamlet, and then i saw the play of othello in 3rd grade and i saw the movie of taming of the shrew and then read the play, but it was just last year in 7th grade that i read love labours lost and the sonnets. my mom started my bro and me reading really young, and plus we were homeschooled so that could have been why as well. |

I haven't read much of Shakespere outside of class but its one of my favorite topics to study in school. So far, I've only read Romeo and Juliet and Macbeth but I would really like to read Hamlet before I have to read it in my Senior year.
I remember seeing this production last year that like gave a comedic summary of all of Shakespeare's works. It was so enjoyable and very well done. It really made me want to like perform in a Shakespearian play someday. _________________ Vaccum cleaners may look fun, but are deadly sex toys. as are certain vegetables like, terri schiavo -Powtaz |
