I really need to stop making these....but not today.
As the thread says, How do you make your villains in your fics? Meglomaniacal? Gentlemanly? Psycho? or Just a fallen hero?
Personally, I have the Mad-with-rage villain, who's out to kill everyone and everything, the Stuck-up-Popular Kid, or the Good Hero who gave up on being a good guy. |

I make villains who are really powerful and shady. Some have their good side showing at some points of the story. I create them with showy outfits and lightning and all those spooty special effects coming out of their body. I like them really sinister one. Yes, I do.Well, most of the time I avoid drawing eyeballs.
I'm currently making one who's taken over by a demon. But he's relly nice. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. But of a humble heart, the Lord wil not scorn, and from its abundance the mouth speaks.

It really depends on the story. I mean, obviously, I don't want a villian in some humor story to be serious and murderous and the like, but at the same time, a serious story probably shouldn't have Magna Khan. (although it would be damn funny)
I'd say, whatever fits the main characters. if the heroes are silly, give 'em a silly villian. A serious hero, a serious villian.
When I write, i try to go for the snake in the grass. They're fun to write. They have to have this outter appearance, but inside, they're just asses.

psycotic killer who basically seems to have no good reason for doing all the stuff he does until near the end of the story. |

I like my villains with a side s fries. *grins foolishly* But, being serious,I like villains who have a good reason to be evil at times. Like, take a few Yu-gi-oh villages. Bakura and Crawford (Maximillion) and in Shaman King Faust the eighth. Those are the type a relish the most. |

All villains are psychos. Well, in different degrees and styles, they are. At least that's what I think. _________________ --Small minds talk about people, average minds talk about events, great minds talk about ideas. I use alot of different villans in my stories.
Sometimes I go with the kind of villan who's just plain crazy, other times they're out for revenge. I like girl villans too- most of the time because they're seductive and cruel, and that makes for a really good baddie.
But my all time favorite kind of villan are the kind that are really cunning- you think you have them beat, then they jump right back up! I think that would get kind of frusterating for the hero... |

Mine are usually kept in the shadow. The less I add to them, the more the readers mind can fill in the blanks, make them eviler than they really are.
Otherwise theyre usually a lot like the hero in certain aspects, but twisted in others, they usually believe what they are doing is right, but for the wrong reasons. My villains are (most of them) calculating characters who know how to do what needs to be done, in order to get the desired results.

Well, in my story, the villian is evil (with some good sides), is slightly crazy (since he's madly in love with one of the girls on the good side), he is a demon (half phoenix, half wolf demon), clever, has magic powers, can posses others, and has a maid that serves him. He's afraid of his father (who's dead) and is slightly abusive.
And his name is Shing. _________________ It took me about ten minutes to defeat Giga Bowser, Ganondorf, and Mewtwo from Super Smash Brothers Melee using Peach.
How long did it take my brother to defeat those characters using Yoshi? Two minutes.
I like to obsess over stuff. Here are all the things I'm obsessing over:
Song: Seize the Day by Default
Anime: D.Gray Man
Anime character(s): Kanda
Video Game: Super Smash Brothers Brawl
Video Game character: Wolf O-Donnell from Star Fox Assault
OC: Ray Eclrida, copyright of me (duh!)

I also like my villains to be somewhat seductive, and they're usually guys soooo...an evil psyco sexy villain guy with dark eyes and black weirded out hair and imposibly skinny bent on making everyone around him miserable... my typical bad guy. ^_^ |

My villian Shing believes that he's sexy. He's shirtless, tan, and has long hair tied up in a ponytail (and believe me, his hair is LONG!!!)) So Barney, our characters are almost the same.
Here's a pic of Shing. His hair's all out though, so it's not in a ponytail. I screwed up majorly on the hands.

hmmm. I like my male villians nice (not good nice) and dark and seksay. *grins evilly*
I like some male villians:
Evil because of their own self-rightous mission.<<<<<<
Dark and twisted, psychotic.
Good but believes in the wrong side.
But mostly the first one.
Female villians:
Seductive and cruel.<<<<<
Incredibally sweet, yet confused.
Psychotic, when their own evil is their downfall.
Evil b/c of mission and when dying realizes blah blah blah.
Mostly the first one. ^^

Surprisingly, I've always had this little thought about villains. They always lose, but that's not the case in real life. So, in contriversy to that, most of the villains end up winning either straight out or at least get a final blow in that changes the character's life/world/whatever they were fighting over. |

i always make more than one villian that all have conections, an example from a story im writting- Maxwell is allies with seth and shadow-n, seth and shadow-n are plotting against maxwell, seths sister Rose is trying to kill just about everything including seth and maxwell but is working with shadow-n. Maxwell is the sceming meglomaniac, seth is his adopted son out for revenge for his first family, Rose supposedly died with the rest of seths family but was saved by shadow-n. Shadow-n is unique, he is happy one minuit angry the next, he has ties with the main characters family. Very confusing, but fun to write about. |

My villians ALWAYS believe they are actually the good guys. That their actions are justified, and that they're actually doing the world a favor. My good guys, of course, disagree. I wouldn't think of writing it any other way. =) |
