Rate My Teachers and Rate My Professors have been quite helpful to me in choosing classes this past year. See if you can find your teachers.. some of the comments can be funny. Especially helpful if you know who your instructors are going to be in the coming school year--lets you know what to expect. Plus it's fun to just go back and look at old teachers you've had and see what others had to say about him/her.
Looks like I've got some decent teachers this coming semester.

D: We don't get to know who our upcoming teachers are until the actual classes begin.
Haha, all my old teachers are rated exactly the way I expected. ^^; _________________

I remember that site. One of my favorite teachers had and still has horrible comments, but I love him. The comments were true, though. He's very cold, and neutral, and basically has an attitude like he doesn't care about you, except for a few select people he likes (and even then he's not particularly friendly ). But he was always very funny and a good teacher. I took a couple independent study courses with him.
"it seems like he dosent know what hes talking about" - My favorite teacher, who I TA'ed for this year. Teaches math. And apparently seems like he doesn't know math... _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

My friend's dad is a professor at JMU, got some of the funniest comments from rate my professors.
Mr. Flage is the hottest professor at JMU. I don't care what anybody says.
I love Flage...he is so helpful and knowledgeable. He met me once at 10:30 at night to discuss a paper I was writing. He lives for philosophy and it shows. Don't sit in the front row! (There was one about oral spray, but I can't find it.) _________________ "I've got a sticky Darodo!"
