About Your Pictures. . . .

I would really appreciate it if you could show EXACTLY WHO favorited your picture. I've been wanting this since I first joined.

It would be more helpful for me and others, to see the people who favorited their art.

....Just thought I'd ask....

I agree i never even new in the old Fac who faved me as artists or my pics

and by the time the new Fac came someone deleted me as artist so i did not know why they faved me in the first place or why they dropped me

so i to would like to know who faves my pics

when they don't leave comments and i don't know who faved it really drives me crazy

It's a nice idea, and I think no one would MIND it being in place, but for what it gives you, it really might not be worth the labor to get it to happen. If a person really likes your artwork, they'll probably fav you as artist, which is an option that now works. If they favved a pic, well, half the time they'll say so.
It's a nice idea really, but maybe not worth it. :/

Somtimes they'll even say they fav'd it and they don't. O_o Either that or they go back and delete it from their favs. But I've got a few pics where the "+fav!!!!!"s and the actual amount of favorites don't match up. Laughing

Actually, that's because of a glitch. Some people do indeed not fav a pic, or come back and delete it. But most who say they do really do, it's just the counts are broken for several. This should be fixed for recent pics, I think...
That's also why you might find -1 counts for favs on some pics. Shocked

Really, now! That certainly explains it. I've got a few of those 1 count favs on pictures m'self. Thanks for the info.

Well, I mean, having a system like this ("like this" meaning showing a clickable list of WHO favorited the pic.) would be more useful.

Has this ever happened to you?

You submit a picture, okay, and there's a 0 in the Number of Favorites, and then somebody drops a comment like:

"wow! omigosh! i totally luv your picture! its so amazing! *adds to favs*"

....and then when you go to see the number of favorites again, it's NOT increased AT ALL???? That's so annoying. I mean, they LIED TO you.

Perhaps an option in a pop up yes/no box after the 'Add this picture to your favourites' button asking if you'd like the artist to know you added the image to your faves.

Also, with that of course needs an option in your profile asking if you'd like to permanently answer yes or no to this option.

This addition would take some time to implement, however, so if you agree and it works out ok, you might have to wait some time for it to be added.

I have often thought that myself. But then people might be able to send attack dogs on the people who favorited them and whatnot... *cough* ....

But seriously..

I agree fully that they should. I dunno why.. But it would be fun? :3 Or at least I think so..
