I hate them, I mean I have one of their CDs that is beging to annoy me and I shall bring down to echo for some money. They just suck, they're friends with the worst jay-z, I want to kill that guy. And they're also into rap and typical, with all stupid rappers, they add "rap" in to their songs, it's like they're protecting the damn genre or else I'm drunk. But atleast linkin park don't follow the worthless lyrics that rappers tend to sing, that makes me want start cutting things off...

So yeah, I don't liek them much, just anothergroup that sucks, but hey, they're a shitload better than greenday!

No, they don't sing about bitches and hos and gangstas. They go for the teen angst/anger side instead. Only a mild step up.

I'm tired of arguing their suckitude, so....one of the three LP threads in the archives should sum up my opinion nicely.

There's a pretty decent size collection of fans, though, so the ball licking for Chester should start shortly.

Oh, I wouldn't say that they're better than Green Day.

Even if you don't like Green Day, you can't deny that their (pre- American Idiot) work is MUCH more original than LP.

ugh, yeah early greenday was better, but now today, you know, remember, 2005, yeah mmhmm, greenday sucks worse then LP today, I mean yeah greenday was a hell of alot better, but LP to me has gotten up to the point where I'd rather listen to LP then Greenday if those were my only options. But Linkin park sucks anyway, they're lyrics are bad, but better in a way. Curses to them anyways!

First of all, I HATE that they did that CD with Jaz-Z. He's crap. That "Jigg wa? Jigga Who?" crap he does annoys me to no end. Plus, they already had Mike as their emcee, they didn't need a crappier one.

They're sell outs! Every stupid album they do, they REDO in another stupid way, and it sounds like a techno remix. Once was forgivable, but twice to BOTH cd's is just inapropriate. Not right. Wrong. . . . .

They didn't start singin/rapping about "bitches 'n hoes" untill their [i]buddy[/i] Jay-Z came along. He has no talent and nothing to offer them.

I would know how their sh!##y new cd sounds, because my friend got me the damn CD for christmas. Listened once on christmas day, and never listened to it since. The only way I'll ever like them again is if they NEVER bring in another sh*thole rapper in and do a CD that has NOTHING to do with the previous ones. But I do like Hybrid theory!

lol, well they never were my fav band, just another band out there. LP just sucjs, yeah, the song numb was ok off on it's self even though it sucked, Jay-Z had to come and ruin it, on reason why I want to cut his balls off XB But if LP needs a worthless rapper to "improve" a song (which they didn't) then they're retarded Very Happy

What? :huh: Oldschool rock is Aerosmith, Stones, Hendrix, the originals of rock. LP is a new generation crap act.

That's mostly true, because it's still a [i]career[/i]. But it's a creative career, nonetheless. There's wanting to make money and then there's doing things JUST to make money. "I'm going to remix this album three times, not because I feel I have an artistic message to get across, but because then I can sell it three times to the same person" That's ridiculous and makes you a lousy band.

There's a few bands that have constantly rejected the money in favor of integrity and fans (Fugazi, for example. $5 tickets for a long long time and turned down major labels), but they're the extreme minority. Because it is a career, and you can't keep making records without financial success. But that doesn't mean you should abandon the music to make more money.

No, those guys are hard rock in the begining of hard rock, I mean the real genre, I forget what it was called but the last time I checked, it said that they were oldschool rock. I need to go check again. :wacko:

Who the hell made "oldschool rock" a genre? :huh: Oldschool has always meant the original era of rock artists. UNLESS, someone is trying to take the "urban" definiton of it to mean early 90s rap, and apply it to rock. Which would be stupid, and I'd have to track them down and beat them with a stick.

They're nu-metal. Usually just "metal", but they're nu-metal of the worst kind.

I've seen them labeled indie rock, too, but that's just an insult to all the real indie rock groups.

or I just read, they're old-school [b]hip-hop[/b], traditional classic rock, and spooling electronic. Those are the genres that they play, but sure as hell don't sound like classic rock when ever I hear them on the radio (which barly happens, I go to kqrs, or 93x) They suck anyways!
