Post Number-ism

Lately, I realize that people with high post numbers are better treated than the people with low numbers, not just because high-post people are well-known, but people who are basically invisible but with respectful numbers (since they only hang out in the contest and fanfic section) are better treated in General sections and other places. what do you think?

PS. Does this belong in politics or philosophy? but this is forum-specific... :huh:

anywho, same, I remember getting punched around when my post numbers were <200, and also, people didn't get any sarcasm from me, thinking that I WAS really stupid... go here:

Eh, I like getting new accounts, to see how people will react when they find out its really me.

The more posts you have means that you've been here for a while, and got used to the forums. With that, you get respect for following rules.

Others who don't, either got reregistered, or actually read to rules.
I hate newbies so much, don't bother at all. That's why we give them disrespect, in out own way, doesn't have to be harsh.

It all depends on yourself on a personal sense..

The more you post, the more people notice you, the more people recognise your writing style and attitude and you find common interests and have stuff to talk about and be interesting with thus finding yourself a name in a mess of 1's and 0's.

it's so totally true... one of the reasons I bi***ed and bi***ed about loosing 1300 posts off of my post counts on the forum i mod when the admin guy switched servers. Now it looks weird that the mod has less posts than the people he mods. But that's changing. I'm spamming again, but the cool thing there is, as long as you have something that makes sense to say, no one f**ks with ya. Here... o_0

Post count means nothing to me. I'm one of the very older members here and I JUST broke 1,000. I get a whole heap of s**t from pretty much everyone. Deal with it. If people don't like you, they just dont. Period. . . . .

Meh... I was one of those forum game-addicted people. That's when those games still counted towards your posts. Over 400 of my posts mean basically nothing. *shrug* I can't really say I've seen this during my time back here on FAC, but I'll look out for it.
