Why is it that we can upload a pic from our comp for an avatar, but not for a sig?

O.o This reminds me of a dream I had last night... where you guys made a board called 'random questions' just for me. . . . .

Because the avatar is just a picture, whereas a signature is a blank field that can contain pictures, text, or any combination of those. Use http://www.photobucket.com if you need picture hosting.

Donations dont make much money....at least they aren't making this site much money.

At least with the popups I can break even.

Sponsors and/or spendy paid accounts. Not sure about photobucket, since I don't know if they even have paid options, but I know villagephotos did and now is only paid accounts. But yes, a lot have paid options that give you more space and bandwidth. Still has to cost a fortune.
