I understand they recently came out with a new album, Demon Days (which I'm listening to as I type). It's currently my very favorite band of all time, but what do you think of it? All opinions accepted. ^_^

I only have the new one, but I wanna know before buying any others. (This question's mostly directed to those who actually own the older albums) Is their older stuff better than the stuff that just came out?

Thats what makes them them. Its like hating someone for having the colour skin or hair that they have.
They're very.... original, I suposse? Thats why not many people like them. All they want to listen to is all the mainstream crap.

You don't know what a joke is do you? I can spell how ever I want, common, why do you hold pointless grudges? The gorillaz suck, I want them to get laid by jackson. Alright, and I'm not goign to get started with a fight, just what I can do with meh rights, so just lay off. :wacko:

The jackson thing... was weird and mean (have they decided the verdict yet?).
And yes, you can do what you want with your rights. As much as you can, b/c if you live in the US, they're slowly being taken away from you.

But you saying how much they suck doesn't mean they suck.
I like them because They have a more original voice and their beats tend to get stuck in my head, and the songs aren't completely about sex and love and etc. And I like their music videos, how many other band have music videos like that?
Most of them have sluts in shorts not worth wearing and shirts that don't cover anything.

Just lay off how saying the gorrilaz suck, b/c if you say it like that I see no reason to respect you or even listen. Seeing you have no apparent reason, if you give a reason I may consider what you are saying.

I own all four of their CD's, and find G-Sides to be the most appealing, though Laika Come Home is one of the most interesting pieces of musical collaboration I've heard in a while.

Demon Days is a good CD, and more than several of the songs herald back to the roots of Damon Albarn and his brit-pop heritage. A thumbs up, in my book.

Gorillaz are original in music and in design unlike most of the manufactured music and gimmickry of rock ,metal and hiphop.

I liked them. I think they're unlike alot of music industry puppets and they're lyrics are written with a sort of intention, not some sloppy poem stuck together with a crappy beat to make w quick buck. And their music videos are very original, in the fact that they animate all of them. I love them. :wub:

^_^ I kinda like them even if I'm like the only one in my town who likes them all the other think they suck. And their animation. Like I love animasion stuff. I dont own a CD but maby I'll buy one next month when me and my perants are finished moving to New Zealand. Very Happy

You never know maby they will even become one of my best band's. Razz
