Icicle Seafoods
If you're desperate for a thousand dollars in one paycheck, yes. ;)
Dang place where I broke my back ten to fourteen hours a day...and Petersburg is the town I live in.
It isn't really hard work, actually, in the room where I'm working in, and especially if you're underaged...it's really the number of hours that tire you out the most. I don't know how it works but Icicle has some sort of license that allows them to work underaged people (though legally at the age to work of course ) over the maximum number of hours the law says they can work.

If the work is so hard, why would anyone choose to do it? Lot's of overtime hours! Because fish is a highly perishable product, it must be canned or frozen as quickly as possible to maintain the highest quality. This is why the seafood industry offers more overtime than most summer jobs
...Not everyone is willing to do the physically demanding manual labor that is required to process fish. If you have any doubts at all, it is in your best interest not to apply for this type of work..
...as quoted from the description. If you can't handle the number of hours (which you should KNOW if you can't), then why apply for the job? XD It does pay off lots. I got 1200 bucks in my last two paychecks... o.0 Thank you overtime wages...plus, as soon as August rolls around, which is the peak of the season (and a crapload of hours.......), the amount of money will pretty much double...and damn, don't tell me that isn't a lot of money in just one summer job.
...well, I thought my job was fun and interesting.
oh yes...I forgot to add, the most interesting thing about it is that there are people working there from pretty much all over the world...but mostly Mexico. XD And slovakians. And Japanese.
Several weeks may pass before there is a day off!
edit: Oh yeh...and if you do, I'll be there. It'll be my good ol plan for stocking up on college money (dam campus jobs... <.<) _________________ Makes you wonder, doesn't it? |

I would, right now, I would go as far as cleaning up dead corpses at the morgue for 14$ an hour. I'm THAT desperate for money I need an easel and an mp3 player (well, not NEED, but still.) _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

I like the cold, but fish scare me. I can't stand the way they feel, smelll, or taste. But that job does have a pretty damn good pay. _________________ I have magical female powers
