Can't Start A Thread In Requests/trades

I'm starting up a Cafepress shop to benefit the Hurricane Katrina Relief Fund, with all profits going to the American Red Cross. I tried to start a thread in Requests/Trades to get other artists involved, and I got a message saying I wasn't allowed to start a topic. What do I need to do?

Participate in more sections that you do have access to, then you'll be allowed to view and post in all sections.
