Greenday sold out. Plain and simple. They took their once half-decent sound and turned it into psudo-pop-punk to get attention of all those "Punks" I left back in Junior high.

Not all Green day fans like GD becuase they think they are emo and blah blah blah. Why are you fitting in posers with people who just like how the goddam music SOUNDS. Since when does EVERYONE who listes to Green day listen to it to be cool. Maybe there [i]is[/i] some people out there who just like it becuase it's popular or they are trying to fit in. But don't you get that with every band? At least a few times? . . . .

. Just becuase you prefer recording yourself singing in japanese instead of lisening to Green Day, doesn't mean you have to dis them AND the people who listen to them. <_<

Speak for your self. I like the way green day sounds. And i wouldn't call myself punk. I find what you said very offensive. I just really like the music, some songs more than others, but hey, its not their fault if a bunch of little posers like their music. It's the real fans that count.

Green day isn't too bad. (though I only like one of their songs)
I sometimes bring my guitar to school and it Pisses me Off when some A.. hole comes up to me "let me try! Let Me try" then when I let them see my guitar they start busting out all the Basic crap Green Day has to offer. Grr!

I like greenday in that, I don't DISlike them. I like hearing music by them that I've never heard before (even if its old to everybody else Razz

). But it's a sad truth that they get really old really fast *shrug*

excuse me but i'm not punk,and greenday is totaly teh bomb.no offense but usually people who listen to the rap thats all crap that talks about weed and stuff..they are the people who want to be kewl >< and greenday makes sense. people can relate to them atleast i can lol.
