Advent Children

Well, Advent Children has been out on the usual sources for a couple of days now, so a post about it seems relevant. Has anyone seen it yet? What do you think?

I thought it was amazing - the plot was surprisingly thin, and Nobuo Uematsu was obviously having a bad day when he was composing the music (it generally sounds out of context, or the remixing is not as good as the originals) but it more than makes up for it in omg's. Definatly worth waiting for.

I rate it 7777/10.

My dad just bought a DVD of Advent Children yesterday along with several other titles. Since my mom is gonna go abroad for a while we just wached Monster-in-Law. I'll watch Advent Children maybe wednesday next week. I've been dying to see the movie.

No, the film is in Japanese with English subtitles. But I heard the guy who does Sephiroth does Kazuya in the [i]Tekken[/i] games. Wierd.

I've looked into it, the original (from Japan) I think has no subtitles.
Can buy it and the little OVA anime inbetween game and movie on ebay. Can find a few that have had subtitles put into it.

And yes the guy who voices Sephiroth does the voices for Kazuya Mishima (tekken), Heishiro Mitsurugi (soul calibur), Moritsune (shinobi), Ryu (marvel vs capcom) and was in Inuyasha and Digimon, etc. etc.

I think he's in a band called 2HEARTS and did music for various games and advertisements too.
