Lotus Eater is the name for "Emma Sky"'s CG site, she is somewhat of a "renegade"in Japanese personal CG sites as her art is very uniform, (always 400x400 pixel canvases, 128 color gif) and has a touch of realism.
I grouped her art in 4, and layed them chronologically.

...I like them.
They're a lot like your work (Which I never mentioned I like alot) but clearly CG.. The characters and colours are all mundane poses with colours..
I like the last one alot <3

I'm a bit biased on who to make a profile about and waste 10% of my photobucket account on B)
one thing that I must fuss over with this artist is...
the style, the canvas size, and the 256-limited color palette hasn't changed at all for 3 years now _________________ "Sarah's future makes me sad." - Benk |

Wow. The art style is quite striking, although I'm not sure whether to like or dislike it. It's a little too... sketchy... for my tastes. It's impressive to see what can be done with such a limited color palette, especially in the way that the light and shadow are done. That one with the boys in the science lab is particularly nice - it's so very detailed.
I did a crappy five-minute translation of the Japanese text. It's not terribly well done, but hey, it's late and I don't care.
My (Emma Sky's) site is for the purpose of displaying the naive drawings that I do as a hobby.
I'm an amateur, so I don't understand the hard stuff.
I think that my drawings have taught me a lot.
Please say something nice (more like 'I'd like to have a pleasant conversation with you').
My work is inexperienced, so I'm happy if you look at it.
This site is link-free.
Please feel free to (do something - breaking a connection?)
|
