Alright, people. I know usually I act unlike this, but it's till today I realized how pathetic a lot of people are. No offense. I rant a lot, and just thought I might start some web-ranting.
Now, there are a few things I would like to get off my chest:
1. What do you people have against the approval team?! Sure, the pictures have to be limited size, but you can't blame them! They do have limited space, I'm sure. And still, it's very pathetic to just blow up and say they suck, when really they don't. ( I have nothing against the approval team. Your just doing your job, so bravo!! *claps* )
2. Bad spelling. My most hated thing. People who suck a spelling so much, they suck at grammar too. Like they forget to put comma's and uppercase letters. They spell most things on purpose because they think it's cool.
Examples: "gurl", "grl", "boi", "buy"(instead of bye) "bye" (instead of by ), "kewl", "kewt", "kool".
3. We're still on bad spelling, so technically this is an add on of 2. Other people, who will remain nameless, have spelt their "I'm","I've","I'd" and just plan "I"s have without apostrifies, so you can't tell if their trying to say "Im" like IM me, or "I'm". Or their trying to say "Id" like an ID, or I'd. It is very confusing, and then there's the people who are too lazy to uppercase the supposing names, of their favorite artists, musicians, heros, idols anything.
4. Of course there's always the person, who just HAS to go freaking crazy and say that FICTIONAL characters, belong to them. A lot of people are idiotic by doing that. They put their usernames as "Rikusgrl", "cloudsgrlfrnd", "Inuyashasgrlalways" ect. And don't notice that the voice-overs are hidious, but fall in love with characters WHO ALL LOOK THE SAME. I have nothing against Japan, but I personally haven't liked an anime' character for some time. And I think the people who obtain crushes on fictional characters are insane. It's alright to fall in love with imaginary friends, that's fine. But fictional characters... no freakin' way. You'll never get with them anyway.
5. Ranting on, about the people who have to complain and attack people, that say a fictional character ( read above ) is theirs.
Example: ( The names are oblivious and sudden, and the characters are randomly picked. )
Yamisgrl4eva: Omfg! I absulootly luv, LUV Yami! He is like, fuking hott!
Yamiluvsme: No way grlfrnd! Yami is mine! Mine! You cant have him!
Yamisgrl4eva: NO! He's MINE! Read the the sn, retard!
Yamiluvsme: Oh, Yami woodnt luv u if u made him!
6 ( another add on ) it's just freaking pathetic. I had to get a friend to type those horrible misspelt words. So it's pretty pointless and pathetic, to fight over someone you'll never have.
7. Now it comes along to the ranting part I like. When people get so upset about a cancelation of a program ( Ex.: if YuGiOh, Dragon Ball GT, ect. were canceled. ) that they go completely insane, and "threaten" to kill themselves. You can still buy the series on DVD/VHS. It's not a big deal.
8. Now for those of you who have done one of the above should be ashamed. And that's not all, the people that break up a perfectly good friendship fighting over some stupid anime' character. I can't stand those people.
9. The people that just have to GUSH and love and die over video game characters. ( Remaining nameless. ) it's just like the anime' characters. only in your dreams. people that draw pictures of scenes from their stories is fine. I've done it, but when you do it to parts in the series of games that have already passed, and then attempt to add it to something that already happened, that's very unheathly.
Finale 10. A lot of people find it right, not to put commas or periods in their sentences.
Example: ( like before, this is randomized. )
Yamiluvsme Is Away.
Yamiluvsme away message:
yo ppl dis is crissy and im yamis grlfrnd so hes mine grls, MINE!!! all mine! so fuk off..... ya..... well im off doin yami. lol! teeheehee, im naughty... bbl lam.
10.: It's just stupid and pathetic.
Well people, this won't change anything, but I will continue to rant. If you all have your own ranting problems, please add them.
If you would like to personally rant to me about anything what so ever. E-mail me at; Fireybloodyglass@yahoo.com
I will enjoy to laugh at you. ^_^
Thank you for coming, it's been great, see you soon. |

The scary thing about those kind of fangirls is that most of them are like only 12... _________________

Yeah. To be truthful I'm not that older/young than they are. And I still realize how pathetic they are. |

I want to hug you.
Funny you should mention fan girls, DG. I changed my sig earlier today.
The only thing I've done on that list is not capitalize my idol's name in my screen name, but that's the only time. I like my screen names without caps or spaces. _________________ |

XD Yes but you're not a squealing rabid fangirl!
And Bloody... it's not really a question about age ya know ~_^ it's maturity. On of my best online buddies is only 13, but she's awsome! We laugh at pathetic people all the time.
Gods... I don't think I was ever really fangirl crazy... well maybe those two months when I was like 13 and obsessed with Dilandau from Escaflowne but that was very short...and I never got into fights about himor claimed to be sleeping with him. _________________

Laughing at each other is fun. But what's even more fun is laughing at idiots who don't realize that you're laughing at them... then they get confused.
Oh yeah I wanted ta tell ya too Bloody. I like your av. It has always amused me greatly ^^ _________________

Not a squealing rabid fangirl, but still a weird one. That's why I added that whole "degree" thing. There seem to be normal fans, weird fans, and then there are those love-obsessed squealing ones that claim characters all to themselves. _________________ |

Hey now.... Jareth will be mine. Though I don't know if wanting to jump his bones counts as a "crush"...nor do I know if it counts if the reason is less the character and much more the man...nor would I ever bicker with someone over possession, since more admirers means for smutty fiction, art, n' crap for me... fuck it, I don't count.
Nice rant. I'm guilty of not always using uppercase letters for names, but I've never denied being lazy.
(not that this is English class, but since part of the rant is about it, ya may want to scan over some of the grammar and punctuation errors ya got there...) _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |

Yeah, I know. My grammar isn't as perfect as perfectionist, but nothing is. I just tried as hard as I could ( I'm only freaking 12-years-old. Gimme a break, man!)
I tried this whole "no maturity" on my friend, Jess. And she started freaking out and wondering if it was really me. She's used to my *cough*awesome*cough* spelling.. Lol.
My ranting must go on! And thanks. The avatar is amusing. It's Leo from VGCATS.

it's a WICKED funny webcomic. Go look and read it.
I have to admit I am a fangirl of REAL people. I mean celebrities. ( I'm a celebslut. ) Knowing I will never get with any of them, I have bunches. ( too admit some of them are women..... coooool. )
Yes... ^^ well I must go now. SO LONG, AND KEEP RANTING! |

I can agree with you people on the fangirl thing. Fangirls are evil, it's like they just loiter around, waiting for someone to say "Yeah, I guess (insert random male anime character here) is pretty cool." Then they all go crazy and verbally abuse the living daylights out of this innocent bystander, saying that they cannot have (insert random male anime character here) and that he's theres and such. Scary stuff, wot.
Also, about the grammar and spelling thing. I'm the laziest person I know, but that's really no excuse to not take one second to capitalize a letter, or add a period. It really wouldn't kill you to go press the shift key once in awhile. <_< _________________ a jelly calypso castle in the sky |

This is great. I enjoy rants about subjects that I share feelings about.
You know what about all of this bothers me the most? The fact that THOSE fangirls/boys you mentioned, the horrendously bad ones, are beginning to become the stereotype for an anime fan. When someone hears anime fan, that's what they are beginning to hear. And frankly that is NOT freaking fair to those of us who happen to be reasonable, intelligent people who like anime!! Luckily, most of those people get weeded out of the group when it comes to going to cons. Because they can't afford to go, while -I- can. |

Nah, wasn't claimin' anyone had to be perfect, just that it was kinda funny for there to be punctuation errors in a sentence about them.

Most of the time, the poor English really doesn't bug me. I mean, if I'm not the intended target to read it, I don't really care. But if someone is writing TO me, and intends ME to read their jumbled garbage, well... I cannot be held responsible for my actions.
I kind of wonder if this is a byproduct of the internet, or just of the illiteracy that comes from having one big, lazy society. I mean, shorthand was never this bad, though by far, it was almost as annoying.
The one thing that really gets me is when people add totally pointless descriptions to their pics. Something akin to "I went to the store and Brad was there and we talked and I kissed him and..." and it never actually goes anywhere. The disc. area is there so you can use it to let people know what was goin' through your head as you drew, what you used to draw, ect., NOT how many times "Brad" jammed his tongue down your throat.
And finally, the one-word replies to pics. We've all gotten them. "Cool" or "Neat" or "PIE!" ...okay, maybe that last one's unique to another forum. But you know what I mean. If someone is going to take the time to reply to one of your pics, don't you expect something a little more intellegent? A comment on your skills, perhaps? Maybe a little critisism? And yet, the uber-short replies continue! There shoudl be a rule or something... Grrr!
...okay, sorry for highjacking the thread.

I think it's the byproduct of an immature girly population that thinks it's "KUTE!". 95% of the time that's who's typing that way. I see very few males using things like "gurl" "boi", etc. etc. They use the number substitutes n' stuff, though.
Just like all the annoying "Princess" and "Bad Gurl" shirts. It ain't cute, babe. Stop it. _________________ "I care about people as much as I care about lawn furniture" - Dexter/Michael C. Hall |
