Rip-roaring and somber vocals and some of the catchiest tunes this side of.. whever you are. Josh Homme is one of few rock Gods, in my honest opinion. Also married to Distiller's singer Brody Dalle with a child, thier house must rock hard ass.
Incredible drumming skillz from Foo Fighter's frontman and Nirvana's drummer Dave Grohl (awesome to see back behind some drums though I think he has left QotSA now).

I just picked up a copy of Songs for the Deaf and MAN I haven't stopped listening. Classics such as "You Think I Ain't Worth A Dollar, But I Feel Like A Millionnaire", "A Song For The Dead", "Six Shooter", "Hangin' Tree", "A Song for The Deaf", the emotion soaked half instrumental "Mosquito Song" (A++ rating, btw!) not to mention the released "No One Knows", and "Go With The Flow".

I love the way the tracks are presented in a sort of story-board way. Sort of like an audio-movie. It starts with the rumbling, creaking ignition of a vehicle and the radio turns on. A DJ introduces the song and the station is changed after each song.

I need to check out a few more albums. This one deserves an 8 (I'd prefer more musicals/more screamo vocals/more solos) and it's an awesome album.

Josh Homme is hilarious in interviews too :P

They're also really awesome live, too. If they release a DVD of live shows, I'd buy it. Like I bought my Muse - Absolution and Hullabalooza DVDs.

These guys are the meaning of the word "cool". There's been a lot of lineup changes in their band, but hopefully they will still make another album.
