I, like most teenagers, read The Outsiders in school and I really liked it. It still remains one of my favorite books. Recently I've been reading more novels by the author, S.E. Hinton, and I really liked them Rumble Fish, Tex, That was Then, This is Now... I think she has a really good grasp on the mind of a teenager (this may be because she was a teenager when she wrote most of her books) and the books give you a good feel for the era in which they were written.

ya, i love her plots and settings. I once had to draw a scene from a book, for school. I decided to draw the part of That was then, This is now when Mark fires the shotgun at the two texans, in the beginning when trying to save charlie. My teacher loved it so much she put it on display
I personally like the outsiders. But That was then, this is now will always be my favorite book. _________________ "edit : i luv james" - Layzcarter |
