Unlike most of the sections in this forum like
the random and general,
music <_<
and anime&manga.

I don't think some of the sections of the forum are properly maintained.

mainly the AAA and the Philosophy+Politics.

in Artist Abuse Assistance, each threads should be properly maintained, as in, the mods closing threads with a definate answer of "user removed", or "proved to be two accounts by the same person" whenever a match is found. I came up with a match for 2 pictures few month back and no news was heard. The person who made the thread probably forgot who the member they put they suspected of stealing art.

Furthermore, in philosphy and politics, things get heated up way to fast, and it is the same problem all over again. In each threads, a debate has been done and over, but new members make infuriating posts without reading about the conclusion of the arguments months back. I think not enforcing the strict rule of not getting into the fundamentality of religion in the politics forum is one of the issue. Especially over the weekends, I've seen the section being swamped by dozens of pointless (and not funny) replies that made it a perfect breeding ground for spam. I think they should be toured by a mod more often and/or be amalgamated for easier maintenance.

Other than those two, I think other forum sections are well kept. the General help and the newbie section is regularly toured by Strata. Music, TV, and the Art generals by Fallen. Anime/Manga, and the forum games by DG-Sama. and Occaisionally, Life Assistance by Kate.

Thanks for hearing me out. Smile

I pretty much took care of AAA at first but with the baby I don't have much time. I'm starting to get more free time though so I might be able to add it to my day.

it doesn't even need to be a mod, site helpers can handle that.

I think you need to become an eunuch and be molested by Evangelical priests.

EDIT: Repeatedly

^Lol

Still you bring up a good point. This is why I avoid philosophy/politics. Usually, I'm no good with this stuff and when I try to enter my opinion, an arguement breaks out. Maybe the serious parts of the forum should be limited to members with certains amounts of posts?

I dunno.

That would be a great idea...That way certain newbies *godbless* don't contaminate the post. And it's dissapointing with the politics forum because its like people are absolutely refusing to actually read someone else's posts and actually think about what they said. And I love to talk politics...But when you're dealing with a bunch of little kids who don't really understand what they're talking about, it makes you dissapointed and move away.

One way, I'm beginning to learn, that keeps petty spammers and naive newbies is actually posting a topic that is intellectually hard for them to grasp. Example: post on a deliberate topic, and have the information laid out right then and there, and then, suddenly, the amount of spam and intellectual garbedge gets narrowed down until its nonexistant. It's great.

yeah, having an ambiguous topic title and a first topic that doesn't really makes sense unless you read it throughly and you know the background information about it :/

It keeps those who have not a clue what they're talking about away, and that is all I really want.
