I liked the Nike commercial that aired during the 2000 olympics in Australia. It started out with this kid running, and then there were some other sports, and then the kid running again.
I just spent half an hour looking for it on the internet, but no luck. I wanted to watch it again anyway. Anyone know the one I'm talking about? _________________ |

I like those comercials about that one crunch cereal or something, the one dude eating the cereal not knowing what the hell anyways is saying, but he just nods. Then the one with his assistant, then the boss showing that one dude that the other dude is the employe(sp) of the month. Ha.
then the It comercials for ebay. _________________ Wyat Fucking Earp! |

I can think of several.
Pepsi commercial: Two baseball players are doing bat practice in a baseball stadium (with a pitching machine) at night, under a full moon. First guy whacks the ball... pop left fly... way left... bounces off the hood of a car in the parking lot (which sets off its alarm).
Second guy whacks another ball... straight out of the field... shatters a light out in the parking lot.
First guy takes another whack... pop fly, straight up... then BAM! Earth's moon shatters into cosmic dust.
The two guys then look at each other and scatter
* * * * *
Nationwide Insurance commercial:
Peaceful forested villa. A butterfly lands on the side-view mirror of a car.
And the car's alarm goes off. LOUD. The alarm startles a nearby squirrel, which drops the acorn it was trying to eat.
The acorn lands in a fruit dish next to a lady sunbathing (topless) in her backyard. She freaks and stands up, catching the eye of a neighbor hosing down his car.
Distracted by the topless lady next door, the neighbor doesn't realize where his hose is spraying, and the water stream hits a nearby construction worker in the face.
The construction worker flinches, throwing his front end loader (with a huge boulder in the scoop) into reverse. The loader travels backwards across a meadow until it hits a gopher hole, sinks into the ground, and catapults the huge boulder skyward.
A few miles away, across a small metropolis, the boulder crashes down on the hitch of a boat trailer, which in turn catapults the boat in the opposite direction... back over town...
And then, SMASH! It crashes through the roof of some guy's house at 90 MPH, while he's out fetching his morning newspaper
"Life comes at you fast... be ready for it with Nationwide."
(jingle~) Nationwide is on your side....

An Oregon Lottery Scratch-It!s commercial (motto: "...or, give them something they really want). The Oregon Lottery ads regularly feature parodies of commercials for silly products, and this time it was an album of Christmas "Fruitcake Greatest Hits". Done in the full style of a music CD commercial (sample songs, a song list, including such titles as "Can't Cut This" and "Hey Ma, What's That Thing Under My Tree?")
The ad proceeds for a full thirty seconds, listing like sixty song titles, and every one is a joke about fruitcake. It even gets all the way to the typical ordering screen (with what I swear was a REAL phone number, probably the Oregon Lottery Commission's number).
THEN, just when you're about to think the fruitcake album is real, they cut in with the pitch: "...Or, give them something they really want: Fruitcake Cash; Scratch-Its with the scent of real holiday fruitcake. From the Oregon Lottery." _________________ Strata here: Nanowrimo - FAC - dA - FA

That willy wonka commercial where that girl starts double-fisting those plants. I know she's supposed to be eating candy, or whatever, but it looks like someting out of R. Kelly's personal stash. _________________
