I haven't kept up with any anime in a long time. As I was browsing the art sections, I noticed that a lot of pictures were depicting homo guys/girls. What the hell? I mean, I know that they make the bulk of the guys look femme anyways, but have they started acting on that now?

Yeah, that is sorta weird. Sure weirded me out, at any rate. Anri (I think that was his name, anyway) from Angel's Feather (okay, technically a bl game): o_o;;;;; Very scary, that. Claims that he can't get his hair cut 'cause his family's poor. =_=;;; He's my least favourite. Sena's number one, and Kai second (but mostly 'cause his voice actor is Midorikawa Hikaru... o-o; ).

I prefer males to look masculine (facially) at the very least. Sure they can have long hair. Sure they can have a really thin body. But my one requirement is that the facial structure be evident of manhood.

But I'll have to agree with Joou's statement that homosexuality anywhere is popular; take a look at Fallen. The girl hates anime. But she likes gays, too. :x

The whole homosexuality thing has always been popular if you ask me. I've seen it around since just about forever almost. I think you just notice it more with anime than you do the real thing (not hardly anymore) because anime, well, it's easier to look up anime and find hentai type of images without trying really, than it is to look up just straight gay porn of sorts Rolling eyes

One reason i don't like to good anything anime anymore. All i get or links to fansits and such with male characters going at it. I rather look into the anime than at an image of that and how someone thinks it's so hot <_< whatever dudes, whatever rocks a person's boat right?

I agree with fayore though. At least give them a masculine face for crying outloud. I hate the male characters with thin girly faces of an angel. Anything, go thin or what not on but not the damn face. . . . .

I personally see nothing wrong with the current trend, it's a niche, I'm sure it will remain strong until the end of humanity. It'll always have fan bases. It is personally worthwile noting that the fangirls are more manly than their yaoi idols.

Compare the movie 'Sensitive Pornograph' with any one of Takeshi Matsu's Doujinshi (I'd reccomend Baito Yamemasu!), and you'll see which is better in quality, and more true to what guys actually look like.
